I think instead of conventions, companies should just release their public tech demos digitally through various store fronts like they'll sometimes do for close-to-completion versions of games.
@@shaulov10 I suppose, though maybe making it clear in the listings that it's an early prototype or not intended to be a full title wouldn't hurt. But I'm not game dev, so 😕
You dont believe im a Sonic nerd? *No one asked* Well, at exactly 0:38 the arrows shown are from the most praised Sonic game... Sonic 06. To be even more exact, its from the SUPER short loading screens. ☝️🤓
I remember seeing the sonic 06 first ever trailer in 2008 and I WAS SO HYPED! I also remember seeing the ds one as well for a tech demo as well in 2008 and it is so nostalgic to me 😁 good job on the editing and video homie 😊
i always find looking at how game developments have changed so interesting, especially with sonic, so i find this video to be really cool aside from the great editing!!
I don’t think the Sonic 1 Tokyo Toy Show is lost forever Lizuka doesn’t have it because he didn’t join Sonic Team yet Oshima could have it but he can’t show it because he get into legal trouble it he does
sometimes i think that 70% of the open zones in Sonic Frontiers, is what they wanted to achieve with 06 back then. specially from what they showed from the beta intro of 06
"GuY tHe EnTiRe SoNiC FrOnTiEr GaMe Is A tEch DeMo ahaha 🤡" * Some mf was saying this when the game come out. Frontier is not 10/10 game its more like a 5-6/10 but calling this a tech demo is really dumb
9:44 well, not all of them... ya kinda missed one, one that I honestly was hoping you would cover in this video. and that one would be the Sonic Wildfire Tech-Demo, AKA the beta of Sonic and the Secret Rings.
