Ladies and gentlemen, Sonic '06 has been broken. Somehow, the killer wasn't the game's faulty programming. Rather, a man with an insane amount of time and skill to master some of the stiffest controls in gaming. Well done, good sir.
The Vib Crib No, you people just suck at the game cause you try to brake it instead of playing it. I completed the game when i was 8, and at that point i did not know how much hate it got, so i had a enjoyable run with about 3 glitches in total. The game is unfinished yes, but it is by far a horrible game that is unplayable, just unlike some othet sonic games, this game takes a lot of skill to master, not because of bad controls, but because of the precise actions that you gotta pull off. Dear everyone who thinks this game is unplayable, YOU SUCK AT IT, so git gud :)

Even some of the game breaking glitches don't occur much. stop like, trying to focus on breaking the game, and actually enjoy the good things about it, and that it tried to achieve
I had the most fun with Sonic. I actually really liked this game. I wish it was finished and did well because I don't like how dumbed down the games got after this. That's just my opinion though.
Well Unleashed was really good, same goes to Generations (aside from the plot), Mania and personally Black Knight was a good spin-off, but the rest was either meh (like Colours or Forces imo) or bad. Let's see how the new Sonic game turns out
@@xdgaming70 Play Sonic Forces. THAT is easy. Sonic Generations actually has difficulty in it. Not at much as Unleashed, but at least its not as easy as Forces.
Here's something that may intrest you: There are some of unused quotes said by both Sonic and Shadow in the game data, which states that Sonic/Shadow gets sucked into the tornado, and both of them nearly thank each other for helping. This implies that this Action Stage was going to have both Sonic and Shadow playable in its sections. I'd love to have seen that myself, and, especially if Sonic's the one to rescue Shadow, that would make them even in the Post Radical Train cutscene when Shadow saves Sonic from Silver.
Sonic and Shadow also have unused voice clips. You can listen to them on RU-vid. Pretty interesting stuff. All the characters actually have unused voice clips.
+TobyandMavisforever Yeah there was also supposed to be a rainbow gem that could turn Sonic into Super Sonic anytime like in the old SEGA games. I would love to see an official final product of this game...

+DreeGon You shouldn't have to avoid bugs like the ones in Crisis City in order to play the game though. If you have to do that, then that just shows it's a bad design - it's just like saying you can get away with driving a car without brakes. I know some of the glitches in Sonic 2006 weren't that big of a deal, but a lot of them are still annoying - especially the ones which cause unfair deaths. May I also point out this game almost destroyed the Sonic franchise, so by fact it can't be good
I thought this game was amazing. Everything from the cgi cutscenes, to the in-game graphics, to the character redesigns, the music, and the realistic color pallate. I was lucky enough to get a decently working copy for the ps3. I got up to the Kingdom Valley level(which was beautiful) and the only reason I didn't finish the game was because my original ps3 gave me the yellow light of death one day while I was playing Arkham City.
Crisis City was always tough for me, especially the super speed area, but it was really cool, did you know that if you held the forward button that he'll go even faster after a while if you don't hit anything?
Honestly in the bits that worked Sonic ‘06 really wasn’t that bad, had it been finished and ran at full speed (rather than the slowed down version we got) it could have been a great Sonic game.

People hate this game, and rightly so, but there's one thing I've noticed that it does that Unleashed, Colors, and Generations don't: actual full 3D running stages for Sonic. Those 3 games I mentioned still have many 2D segments in them. In fact it doesn't make such sense in Generations' case since you'll think that Classic Sonic would be the only one with 2D but Modern Sonic still occasionally runs in 2D segments. I would like to see an amazing 3D Sonic game someday but that has full 3D like this.
This could've been great. I mean, not the story, but if the gameplay had been finished, this could've been a truly amazing game. I mean, it's visually stunning
So I just noticed something. It seems like when some of the Iblis creatures despawn/spawn or whatever, it plays the same sound effect of when Dark Gaia monsters spawn in Unleashed. Around 1:13
What really got me in Classic Crisis City was the ending, with the flame tornado pulling you off the little rocks and cars you have to jump on to reach the goal. But I find it easier now that I unlocked the lightning shield, the double jump helps me fix that issue.
As awful as this game is, this guy makes it look easy af. And the level is supposed to basically be the apocalypse, but I love how Sonic is just nonchalantly surfing through it like this happens every day.
Nice job, almost as good as my time :) You know, it's nice to see i am not the only one capable of ACTUALLY playing this game, so many people hate it and thinks it's broken, HA, they suck xD
If they got Sonics speed right, killed off princess elise and Sonics romance, reduced lag and improved the performance, this would’ve gone down as one of it not the best sonic game in existence.
That's what I love about the old sonic games, even if you give it your all, the level is still long, not like sonic forces the levels are short as hell. like come on I want to die I can beat a level in less then 2 minutes even if you get hit a lot and slows down you can still beat the levels fast.

How about this for the name - Sonic Perfected. 1080P, downloadable so it can be updated to fix glitches (and eliminate pathetic load times), and make each character much smoother to control. Everything else about the game was beautiful, the story, the plot, the music. It just did'nt matter cause of the frustraiting game play
Meanwhile i cant complete the mach speed sections without getting hit(wave ocean is cancer the slightest touch with the fence u lost ur rings and crisis city if u get unlucky to hit a tire from a broken down car).Also not to mention the 10 seconds loading screen time between each part of the level

Take a fiery version of whatever city you would like to choose from,a skatboard and a giant fire tornado and some sonic 06 soundtrack.Mix it all together and you get Crisis City
Did they really have to include the snowbaord sections in the game? Shadow went through the exact same level as Sonic on foot with no problems (The buggy is optional in Crisis City)
