Really surprised at the pacing of this - sonic moves fast! Considering the time this was filmed/made that must have been well impressive! Hopefully one day a copy will surface on the web.......

What I don't get is, Naka would of been credited for his engine and he wouldn't have to work on another Sonic game. (like he did pretty much the whole Saturn era) and make more games like Nights and Burning Rangers... it's like, "I'm not making a another Sonic game." Alright we just use your engine and-" NO WAY YOUR making a Sonic game with my engine, Unless I do it.. *Sonic Jam* " bit late then...

If the team asked for naka’s permission before using the boss engine and got his consent, this would have been absolutely amazing to play

I see potential for a revival of a lot of these concepts in a Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode III (obviously rename the zones) Zone 1 - Jade Gully Boss - Football Bot Zone 2 - Crystal Forest Boss - Flame Falcon Zone 3 - Red Sands Boss - Guardian Sphinx Zone 4 - Blue Ocean Boss - Mecha Mite Zone 5 - Metal Blade Boss - Emerald Cat Zone 6 - Galaxy Fortress Boss - Darkpool Gorilla Zone 7 - Death Egg Revisited Boss - A series of Metal Sonic bots from Mk I through Mk V Final Boss - Octopod drawing on power from the death egg. Death Egg MkII falls apart. Eggman combines scraps from the Death Egg with the Metal Sonic models and his Octopod to create some crazy contraption for a Super Sonic Boss fight. End of game.

This is so sad! Sonic could have really been something cool. No dumb modern sonic, cringy fanbase, mediocre/shitty titles, and other shit. It wasn't hot for the holidays, and instead the Sonic series went on a downward spiral and never really got good again.

Wait a minute this means there’s a copy of sonic extreme out there that people have played and Sega still has yet to release it to the public
