I have been waiting for this since 1982... I learnt BASIC on a zx81back in the day, and have been missing easy coding since then. I am currently sitting in a room full of classic analogue synths wishing I could sequence them more intuitively. This app does midi. It doesn't take a genius to work out how much fun I am going to have putting the two together. Thank you for your series. I have watched every episode in one go. It was the final piece in the jigsaw.
A Discord Server would be a great way to build a little community of people that is well connected with each other, possibly opening opportunities for a SonicPi live DJ Battle, where both contestants get the same composition and have to make a live remix or something like that.
Hello, Dave! This was GREAT tutorial series, loved the rings jokes, and charismatic presentation! Great teacher! Greetings from Colombia, one of my future compositions (and pretty sure i'll talk about this tutorial with the people interested in sonic.pi) will be dedicated to you, friend!
I have a question. Dave you always put the command , "play" with the command " sample" together "play sample" but I have got away with just the command "sample" with out the command "play" and it works just fine. Is there a reason to use the command " play" with sample?
Yeah , I was wondering if it may, like come across an error or something. I have just basicly started but learning fast. I've getting into trying to learn how to use SuperCollider with Sonic pi . have you done any thing using SuperCollider? yes I it maybe a huge step into Sonic pi but like I said I learn fast and being creative in sound -music is my life so the more info the better I say. thanks Dave
