Thanks for the question! It’s a good one too because I don’t think I really go over that that frequently but here’s what’s going on. Typically everything comes out of the box with synchronization turned on internally. What I mean by that is everything wants to be in charge of the clock… So when you have multiple devices hooked up to determine which unit is the actual parent, I’ll call it and which devices are the children and follow the parent. So you have a source clock internal, which is the main clock and all the other devices have to be turned on to clock source midi. You may also need to tell the parent device to transmit the clock over MDI or some other method in some cases, it might be Bluetooth. It might be just a sink cable but depending how it’s transmitting you want to be sure that that’s set. I hope that answers the question if you want to see it, I can make a video to show you how you do that or just kind of explain it a little more, it would probably be helpful to a lot of people so might be a good video anyway.
