was a kid in the 50s and saw a rare appearance that i will never forget @ small space at #1 Sheridan Square in the West Village in NYC. the lights went down and Brownie entered playing guitar & Sonny held on to him while playing his harmonica. then they sang "Custard Pie" a great double entendre song.

They did a "retirement " tour in the UK in the 1969-ish, then another in 1974-ish! Saw them both times. Actually met them in 69, had a few drinks after the show. Lovely guys.
