Hi, I have some question _ Is it need internet connection to work, if the internet is down, the config timer you made before still work ? _ Can timer loop ?, let say I want the water pump run 2min, then off 30min, loop through the day.
I asked Tech if the outputs have no voltage out from relay [dry contact ] to control use with millavolt or low volt such as gas heaters they kept telling me" it does not have that function. " I had to buy one to find out if it is dry contact and yes it is. Yah But no loop timer with 4ch pro I really need loop timer with ewelink to use in a hotel with a rf wall switch.

I set this up for customers (and my own home) with gas fireplaces or pellet stoves that have thermostat options. 250mlv to 750mlv control. Right now I'm using a sonoff TH10 with thermostat sensor set up in home linked with IFTTT to a Sonnoff 5 volt SV self-locking relay wire connected to gas or pellet stove controls. Using ewelink to control by smart device. I use ewelink scene for a fail safe to turn on/off the SV at a high and low temperature just in case someone turns on or off the TH at the button or ewelink. Or IFTTT fails to work. I'm trying to set up a Inn that has 6 fireplaces. Would like to connect 1 4ch pro for two fireplaces they are back to back. I have total of 4 fireplaces like this and 2 separate. Use a RF wall switch that guest can push and trigger fireplace to come on for a set loop time (but no loop timer on 4 ch pro in ewelink.) I think using RF would help me not to have to use IFTTT because I would not be using the TH as a switch for guest. I want to use a TH with this also to shut off fireplace at set temps and a back up to save fuel. No need to have guest run fireplace when room is 75 deg. [I have tested this with my SV and TH system with no RF switch using loop timer and IFTTT to link the TH and SV. Pushing the button on the TH to activate timer. I don't want to have a custom program smart home server using a rasbery pie just for this might as well buy a Nest of other Wi-Fi thermostat and wire in a transformer to power thermostats. But all in all can't use 4ch for what I wanted to do because no loop timer for it. I tried using IFTTT and stringify to make timer but it was unstable only worked half the time. If Hub will not work with the SV because the SV is not RF

Hi, do you know a way to deactivate the remote connection mode by clicking twice a button? I have flashed the CH4 pro with Tasmota (8.1) and use 4 switches in parallel to the inbuild buttons. Now I want to use the device without any remote-connection. Thx from Germany
@@robdotreynolds ;-) the Sonoff 4CH pro has got an inbuilt RF modul. Do you know a way to deactivate this RF modul? I do want to deactivate the pairing mode! Actually the systems start the pairing mode by clicking a button two times. The issue: if somebody do the double click without using a RF remote ... the systems paired with any RF remote in the neighborhood.
it's really an amazing device. i just have a question. if a channel is programmed on inching mode, can i control the that channel to stay ON using the mobile app? for example, a light is connected to a channel on inching mode and a PIR device is paired on that particular channel. is it possible to make the light stay ON using the app?
I want to use the motion detector in the garage so that when I enter, the lights will automatically turn on and will turn off after a few minutes. But I also want to have an option of keeping the light on. Do you think it's possible? Thanks.
Rob Reynolds , you did yeah but only discussed the rf bridge not being rolling code. The pro isnt either. I have cross channel interference with a pir turning on an input with no bridge lol

Ake Hedman Yes now you mention it I see it too. Would be interested to know too as this could be much nicer running custom firmware. Maybe it's a mux to deal with all the IO. There are a lot of switches on that board.
