Just bought the 910n’s and let me tell you, Its amazing!!! I ordered the senheiser 450bt’s and it is garbage compared to 910n’s… the bass the anc is just better and its not warming up that much, also it is much more comfortable to wear.. Highly recommended!
Hey, I am debating between these two headphones only. Do you think the sound signature of xb910n is good? Is there too much bass like the review websites rtings or soundguys say? And would you recommend these over the 450bt?
@@h3is3nb3rg I would recommend the 910n’s only. It has a lot more bass, and also, if sou dont like the basic sound of it, you can configure it always on its own app, bass, highs and lows.. everything, plus it block more sound that I noticed… the 910n’s is just simply better
I am confused about these two Headphones. To be specific, have to choose between Sony Wh-XB910n and the Senheisser HD 450 SE (450 BT with Alexa Support added). I think I will be going with 910n cause I am also an Bass fan, also having better ANC + the Ambient Mode
Amazing review. The level of detail that you went into was extensive, but not inundating. Absolutely well done, and please continue making more of these videos!
I like this video because you mentioned that you are able to turn down the bass on the wh-xb910n. You also mentioned how they would be good for most people instead over the XM4. There's no way I'm paying the price tag for an XM4. I'm just super glad that I can turn down the bass on the sony wh-xb910n. I like bass but I'm not a bass head by any means. I also like when you made the comparison that a 10 clear-bass setting on the XM4s are equivalent to a 6 clear bass setting on the sony wh-xb910n. That really put things in perspective. So when comparing the top two headphones the XM4 and the 910n would you say the mids and highs are equally as good/crisp on both?
@@reus_xeANYTHING under the normal $350 price tag of the XM4’s is a STEAL!! I just bought a pair Monday from Best Buy because they’re on sale for $250!!
Got the XB910 couple days ago....is a very light and comfortable headphone and this is very important to me. I can wear it for hours with no hassle. Plus, you can play with the Bass settings. If you´re bass head, you can have a blast with these...or if you´re more into classical or rock music, you can turn the Bass down and still listen very goodquality sound! (not as good as XM4...but pretty close)
I Went and got the 1000 xm4’s, the minute I put them on I knew these are the ones I gotta get. I tried on the xb910n’s and it become more obvious. If you can stretch your budget go for the 1000 xm4’s, they’re beautiful in terms of noise cancellation and the sound quality is pretty good for the price. They look very classy and premium.
Thanks for the volume trick. I have the 910n's but was considering the xm4 with the additional mics for call quality and the sleeker look that you were talking about. We will see. This did help me but I'm not too sure about the call difference there
Sir, would you say that xm4's are in any way better than 910n's apart from additional mics? How is the wearing ability of 910n's, are they super comfy? Do they hurt your head or ear after long hours of wearing them. Are they too tight on your ears? Thankyou
@@ashutoshmore3371 910n's have better more natural transparency mode. xm4's look more sleek on your head than 910n's. They are equally as comfortable. Touch controls are better on xm4's. they don't hurt my ears. the mic on 910n's are newer so they might cancel more noise than the xm4's but not that great. neither are exceptional for calls, but looks like they solved that on the xm5's.
@Ahmed Emre Özdemir sound great. They pick up a bunch of details in music tracks and when listening to tv or movies. If you tweak the mids and highs you won't notice the difference but the bass can be there for sure if you want it.
710 is great... i baught my 3rd pair yesterday... i have been vary happy with the 710... had to replace the one at work.. i cant tell you how many times i axidently fell asleep with them on LOL... didnt even fall off... i am a Aux user ... i am so proud of Sony for keeping Aux ... i dont use bluetooth for the most part "only if i cant use Aux" .. i dont feel like doing it all the time... so i use a Aux cable
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and we’re all going to have a different user experience depending on our needs. That said, I love all of the different features on my WH-1000xm4. The wear Sensors, quick attention and speak to chat all come in handy in deferent situations. Speaking of speak to chat you can adjust its sensitivity in the App so that it’s not triggered by accident. I really hope That Sony doesn’t take away any features in any future upgrades of the 1000xm lineup.
@@GYMCADDY Really ? I never have that problem. Well like I wrote every one is going to have a different experience. I forgot to mention. I love how you go in detail in your videos! Keep up the good work!
This detailed comparison was so very well done. You were so honest in putting the effort to show all the tests for all 3 headphones. Helped me a lot in making the purchase decision.
wow, I will never knew if there are other Sony products that "similar" to 1000XM4/5. these comparison really helps. so, as someone who rarely use headphone, especially who have been got a serious disease in ear after using headphone for a long time, I am not really attached to something like "visual", "longer battery", or "slightly better" (as long as I haven't facing the problem by myself) working at home or at cafes can be really annoying sometimes with cables, cars or motorcycles passes with a honk, or a neighbor's chatters / knocking your doors out of nothing. during meeting, especially with stakeholder(s), it's really annoying for me because it can lose my focus. so, after watching the comparison. I think XB910N is the best budget for noise cancelling for both speaker and microphone. once again, thank you!
910N all day long. I tried both these and the XM4 which my friend bought, and apart from the fact I cant tell a big difference in quality while the extra bass is super fun, the interesting difference I noted is in COMFORT. The 910ns are way more plush and deep. My ears touch the end of the cup while using the XM4s, while the 910N are simoly perfect. I would buy them over the XM4 even if they were more expensive
2 things - 1. when you are comparing multiple products on different categories please maintain product sequence between categories 2. we need to see model number on screen along with features (battery life, cost etc.) so it is easier to follow, pause and calculate, take screenshot etc. 3. no need to say full model number every time - just xm4, 910, 710 will do and it's easier to understand
Don't buy the 710ns, sound is disappointing, build quality is horrible, ear cups aren't deep at all, they're not comfortable, ANC is just ok, portability is lacking.
dont ever do the mistake of trying out XB910Ns.. you will regret your decision immediately ..apart from very obvious build and comfort advantage of xm4 , sound quality of xb910 is much fuller and richer to the extent i felt little cheated with my xm4s
@@Nerdram Ok, well I'm not at all disappointed with the sound quality of my XM4, in fact they have the best sound of all headphones I've ever had. I don't like overemphasized bass, but I changed my EQ setting to boost the highs a bit, midtones and lows are at neutral but with Clear Bass at like +4, I prefer to increase the Clear Bass setting over boosting lows in the EQ. Together with the boosted highs from the EQ it has very good overall sound, and thank goodness it saves the EQ in the headset and not on a phone or whatever 🙂 although you do still need a phone to adjust the settings.
Do you know how the bass compares to the XB950N1 on both 1000XM4 and XB910N? Are they as powerful, do they feel crisper or still sort of muddy in the low range. I found the XB950N1 also lacked in the mids compared to other headphones so if you have any input on that it'd be appreciated. Great review btw.
So happy someone else is commenting on how they look, lol. I loved the sound on the XB 910's the best out of all the different headphones I tried around the store, but they were so bulky I'm hesitant to buy them.
kinda sad how you were so fixed on the look of the head band that you totally forgot to rate comfortability when that is the biggest factor... such as can I wear these headphones without it hurting my head for 3-4hrs minimum?
Sony anc headphones still the best overall especially cos they go on sales often...they may not be the best in sound quality ..but they very good for their prices
What are your favorite for sound? I remember one pair of headphones I had, the Logitech UE 9000 headphones, and they were great. I do have the Sony XM3’s and agree the sound leaves a little to be desired but I do like the equalizer app they have.
@@JWickyJr13 if sound quality is ur priority not many headphones can come close to what Sennheiser momentum line can deliver ...both for headphones and earbuds .the Sennheiser momentum 2s earbuds can even rival many closed back full sized over ear headphones including the Sonys...you would pay more for the Sennheisers tho if u going for their premium line up but u will be happy u did
since ive had the 710ns for a year and they’re the only sony headphones ive had i really like them and this is coming from a dude that just wears them casually and like them and if ur on a budget and wanna buy sum for ur self or as a present ill say go for it
I noticed they didn't talk about the feature I've heard about on the Wh-1000xm4's where they supposedly turn on ambient mode when you talk? like how the XM3's did when holding a hand over the right ear.
15:35 I`ll disagree with the ambient mode, that`s the purpose of it so you can hear when there`s an emergency, if you don`t want to hear anything then turn on the nc mode, for me actively lowering the ambient mode when there`s a loud sound defeats it`s purpose.
You think XM3's are worth 170usd (new) nowadays? Been thinking about getting bt comfortable headphone for her notebook. Mostl music and movie watching on netflix. No noise cancelling needed at all. She will never use it. It's all about comfort and home use.
It's important to try and find these headphones in person to try on. I found that the XB910N instantly gave me motion sickness upon putting on while the 1000XM4 did not. Every person is going to be different.
I'm really no tech savvy at all. Would the xb910 work for Teams meetings etc as well as phone calls? And is there any kind of mic you can attach for extra quality sound?
definitely dont use the mic integrated in the headphones for long calls because it sounds like trash, if you are doing teams meetings often on a laptop or any device with a usb insert you can get really nice microphones under 50 bucks that plug directly into your computer whilst you listen via headphones. or get a gaming headset if you're only buying the headphones for the use of the mic.
@@Snakejorts you might have heard of blue yeti mics, lovely sound quality retail price is like 100 bucks which, if you're going to use it a lot, is a worth while investment but you can get them cheaper on eBay; any reputable brand like Razer Sony windows etc is bound to also have some affordable mics I just cant be bothered to do research rn
Which one is the better choice between 100mx3 and xb910? I can get a 2 year old 100mx3 and a brand new xb910 for the same price . Which one should I go for?
can anyone help me out here ibwas thinking of buying the xb910 but are they they best headphones in his price range if there are any other with great features and sound quality should i go for xb910 or should i go for something else
Im about to buy WH-XB910N, XB900N or WHCH720NW but just before - anyone use them mainly at the gym and walking? how do they sound? I am a person who loves to listen to music really loud, i dont like too much bass. thanks for the answers!
@@JuanLopez-zo8os get the xb900n , they have the least clamping force and cost less. The xb900n has more bass and it can be turned down through the app. They are the best headphones out of the three because they are versatile.
I would be very glad if someone had patience to read this cuz I'm really indecisive between the 1000XM4 and the xb910Nb. Although I prefer much more some of xb910Nb's features such as the bass. My main objective in buying the headphones are more because of the noise cancelation effect since I have sensory processing issues with sound. Would it be better if I went for the 1000XM4 or does the xb910Nb just cancel noise a little less than 1000XM4? How big is the difference of noise cancellation? Cuz I couldn't really understand from the video. It also scares me because it's a lot of money to spend.
For your main objective, 1000XM4 would be the best go-to. However, if you like listening to rock and rap music XB910N would do you wonders when it comes to bass.
@@markruffalo3128 I love bass, and I don't think I need extreme noise cancellation uknow? Also people say the wh910nb is more comfortable. I think I should go with the wh910nb, and they're also on discount for just 113€
QUESTION PLEASE : I just purchased the Sony XB910N which requieres to download the App on my phone. Is it possible to download the App on my touch screen Lap Top instead?
I heard XB910 and XM4, honestly I am pretty disappointed with SONY and felt that the XB series is now a downgrade. XB950 used to sound much better then now more expensive XB910 N. For sure they have more features now, but the sound quality ! nothing beats XB 950 BT/AP or N1
Personally, I don’t like them for gym use cause their headband is so big. Is you want something for the gym, I would get the WH-710N. Ear cups are cooler, they’re lighter, and the headband is sleeker.
