Do you know you can hack your camera to give you 60 & 30 fps? Watch this video... "2020 WORKING Sony AX33 AX53 AX100 - 1080,60p 4k, 30p PAL to NTSC (2019) 60fps 30fps"
Great video & camcorder,I have one along with the ax700. In my opinion I find them much better for making videos than using a mirror less camera (I also have a GH5)
The touch is not responsive because the screen uses resistive technology which is different than the capacitive technology built into the smartphones nowadays. Besides this downfall, the resistive screen has the advantage that you can use it with gloves on, while the smartphone requires special gloves in order to respond.
Great review ! And have one question if you know, how to check total operation time (working time) I have plan to buy used camera and seller can't find it how to check that info, do you know that maybe?
Hello Geek Street, Thx for your review As I try to film animals in nature, my only question is : is it possible to film / to set the cam with left side screen CLOSED, i.e only with the visor. So the cameraman could stay sthealthy. ???
Guys, I got ax100 and it seems not strong AF (blurring, very slow) I don't know if any of a6100 or a6600 or Zv1 could match or give better image quality than ax100 because the lens in AX100 is very good. I understand the sensors difference from 1 inch sensor all the way to Aps-c but still the lens in ax100 is very good (if anyone knows how much the lens cost of ax100? In equivalent to sony lens?) Both Zv1 and ax100 is one inch sensor both same sensor but I don't know if zv1 lens could beat or same ax100 lens? Do you think that a6600 or a6100 can beat the ax100 or zv1 with their own lens come with the body (in term of video quality)?
I needed to fill a bit of a void in my capabilities that only a camcorder seemed to fill. I needed XLR inputs, infrared recording, ease of use for video, and something fairly compact. I have gopros that record good video, but they are bad at night. I have a phone that records good video but it takes up storage and isn’t as easy to get video off of. I have a dslr that is still pretty top of the line to the point that mirrorless wouldn’t give me much benefit over it… infrared and ease of just grabbing it and recording did it for me.
Hi, I also own this camera, but all my footage is a little noisy, even though when filming outside with sun is shining. In this example video here I dont see grainy footage at all. So I am asking myself, how this scenes were shot with which kind of seetings, to archieve such sharp and detailed quality without any kind of grain or noise. It doesnt seem possible for me to get this done like you in this video ... defect or just my own fault with wrong settings? :( I tend to use stuff like NeatVideo in post to get rid of the grain :/
No mic jack...hard part is audio capture. Obviously budget pro cam is better with condenser mic Jack's bigger battery sd or ssd removable lenses...for long records.
