Really useful video I was wondering how it would pair with the Sony zv-e10 can’t choose between the sigma 16mm or the Sony 50mm to upgrade from the kit lens .
Super good question. My daughter had the same dilemma. I recommended to her that she get the lens she would use the most first. She does more talking head videos, unboxing type videos and tutorials. so I recommended her to get the 15mm sony f/1.8. The sigma 16mm was my first choice, but our local store didn't carry that one. So she got the 15mm. The next lens though that we decided on was the 50mm 1.8 because she eventually needed the longer reach. She loves both of them so far. Either way, the 16mm sigma and any 50mm pairs great with the ZV-E10.
@@morrisonanthony2108 I forgot about that one. its probably better quality than the sony 50, but my only hesitation is that it's aps-c only so you can't use it on full frame, an it's 2x the cost :| -- other than that, sigma is really good with their glass
You forgot to mention that it's Sony's most garbage lens 🤣 It's old with very slow autofocus + its noisyyy and does a lot of focus hunting. Once you start actually using it you will see. I honestly wouldn't recommend this lens to anyone because the second you get a bit better at photography/video (and you will), you will be selling it and upgrading. So might as well get something decent like the 50mm 2.5G from the start.
I agree with part of that. first off, I already have the 50mm f/1.2 GM, and I did mention in the video that this lens was for my daughter, who is somewhat of a beginner. Yeah, the 50 2.8 is a better performing lens, with more bells & whistles, but for a price. for her budget and how she would use it, I think this 50mm f/1.8 is a better pick because of the faster aperture, plus the 50 2.8 is almost 3x the price.
