Hi Sidney. Thanks for the video. One question here regarding the memory settings: you put the slow-no settings in memory2 recall... but to film in slow-motion you should turn the wheel to the S&Q position. And when I do that, the slow-no settings come in automatically... so why put this in memory recall? Or did I miss something here ? Thanks

Good setup video. I don´t need the 4k video, but the FHD 1080p has poor sharpness compared with my Lumix TZ70 compact camera; you can tell me that recording in 4k I can downscale it to 1080p, but you lose 60p and 120p, waste more memory and battery, big file size and edition time, and have a lot more "rolling-shutter" problem. The A6400 has lost also the mp4 option. Any recommendations for FHD recording?

What top dial should choose when livestreaming using this cam ? Im using sigma f 1.4 lens and good lightning can u suggest best possible setting and how can i change the frame rate thru 30 fps because its always set to 60 fps when im using camlink4k

A question regarding the audio settings using the Røde videomic pro plus. When you set the recording level to 5-7, what is the distance between the mic and the subject?

Brilliant - might need to watch this a few times, and make some notes for the field - but that was spot on! Best thing is not only is my camera now set up - but I know how to set the modes I like (ie 4k @ 24f and HD at 120f) and swap between them in 2 secs = thanks ;-)

Could you help me out here, please? I'm still kind of new to photography. My ISO in every camera setting is an automatic minimum of 500. I can't get any lower and my daytime shots suffer, especially out in AZ. The gamma assist is off and changing it doesn't seem to make a difference. My minimum/range ISO is set to 100. I have the 18-135mm lens that comes standard with the camera. What could it be? TIA

So, what did I understand from you is that when we want to toggle between M1 and M2, I have to choose that from MR and I keep the wheel to it. Then I press record. Because each time when I switch the wheel back to video it discards the chosen memory. is my understand right?

enter menu 2, page 8 you will find "function menu set" its all in there, you can add any function, including MR. Hope that help

You're gonna need a versatile lens for that. I would recommend the Sony 24-70mm GM lens!

can anyone help me. i have a problem im using sony a6400 in 4k 24fps with sigma 16mm 1.4. when im recording the camera focus on my shure 7b mic. what setting do i put it in so it can focus on me and not my mic. face detection doesnt work on 4k 24fps thanks

It seems the battery drains soo fast even while setting different stuff in the menu. In the start you had 93%, in the end 48%. I did the settings on mine, ~60 photos and 3 minutes of video with a full charge. It's pretty...bad. Just got it but you can't go outside, keep it open and shoot stuff like with a DSLR. You need to turn it off after each photo, have 2-3 batteries which are very expensive. I don't know. Any advice about battery life? How to use it, keep it while walking for 3-4 hours and shooting for example?

advice... i'm going for my first mirrorless camera... and going to buy the 16, 30 and 56mm sigma lenses. should i go with the a6500 our the a6400? travel photos, studio, footage for seeling in stock. in time i could buy the gimbal Feiyutech AK2000. well that is if i sell good in stock.

One Thing I will recomend since its in the 2nd menu is changing your color space from srgb to adobergb you get more colors(srgb is measured to be around 69.4% color accuracy where as adobe rgb is around 90.1% accuracy on adobergb and can always reduce them to srgb in photoshop. most of the time if you images live online i would reccomend you to shoot in adobe rgb and convert the final image to srgb
