I would go with ZVE10 if the EVF doesn’t matter. Color science is a bit nicer. The A6400 feels nice in the hand, but basically the same camera.

Thanks for the video :)) if you did have to make a choice between the two (with kit lens), which one would you choose? I'm mainly planning to do photography but the option to do great video is nice too. The EVF is not super important to me but cool to have. Not sure if the price difference for weather sealing + the EVF is justifiable? What do you think haha

ZVE10 is great for recording yourself. It has great autofocus. .

A6400 for photography only because of the viewfinder. ZVE10 for videography because of stabilization

Of those two- the A6400. ZVE10 does weird banding around artificial lighting. I had trouble at a museum getting banding through my photos. For video, though, ZVE10 is nice.
