I read about this receiver back in the 1980’s in a Book called “Receivers Chance or Choice” by Reiner L. And he said the German’s gave it special certification for boats. I bought that book from Gilfer Short Wave.
I thought your SX100 was cool but i did not know you also had a CRF 320 ! This is another radio i have always wanted . they are not easy to come across now and yours is " top slef " for shure .
Hi Nick.....I am in DFW also. Have been looking for one of these or the 330 model. I would like to know who services or is selling re-built radios? Thanks.
I actually made a list for someone recently. I will not ship, has to be a local deal. They all work fine and are in ex condition. I really hate selling cause I just hate the process and dealing with tire kickers. Prices, will be a little lower than what you expect to pay for same radio on ebay. Buy them all and I will make you a smoking deal, 50% off of ebay prices (only for the whole lot) Kenwood 890 Icom 8600 Icom R70 Sony 6800 Sony 2010 Magnavox D2999 Panasonic 4900 Alinco DXR8 Kenwood R300 Yaesu 450D Yaesu 818 w/BHI chip Yaesu VR5000 SGC SG2020 FDM Duo-R Grundig 800 Grundig 700 Grundig 750 Grundig Field BT Hallicrafters S77 Zenith 1938 SW console radio w/robot eye CCRadio EP Pro CC Radio 2E Tecsun S8800
I just bought a Sony crf-330K radio with cassette player Recorder. Mine that I bought that sat on a shelf since 1978 when it was Manufactured. What needs to be done on it? The 2 tuners have been replaced & the previous owner just gave up on it so what needs to be Replaced or Repaired on this Radio? Nothing works on it. I bought a complete Capacitor kit from a person in Australia. I got the belt kit for the Cassette Deck any ideas what needs to be Replaced on it?
@@dieselten01 you will get first shot when its time, i only sell to people who would appreciate and understand what they are, i know you love these fine old rigs, p. S., how did you connect an external antenna to the tecsun 501, it is a 3.5mm plug most hams dont use that plug, thx. Matt
@@mattottie6410 FYI, I get a slight amount of bleed through from my Wellbrook on my 501. The attenuator switch is 3 position and can filter out the bleed through. Lots of times I just clip a 20 foot wire onto the end of the whip and have a great time
I will write them here if that is ok. I was very impressed with the sensitivity both on the rod and external antennas. I wish it had one more bandwidth filter but that is not critical. The radio is not good for listening to Ham band SSB due to no fine tune control. It can receive them but is very difficult to get them in. The antenna tuning control acts like a pre selector and I love it. I can not comment on LW Longwave because there isn’t much to hear in the US. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase.
