Battery back up is pretty good, you will not face any problem through out the day. But recommended to take one extra battery if you shoot something heavy

Image quality is really good. No now I am not using it. For budget camera with good optical zoom it's really good.

No, but it record 60fps which can convert to 30fps to make it slow motion.

If you mean external mic, then no option. Internal mic quality is good. But not best. You can take a look some of my videos uploaded just after this camera video to experience the quality.

You can go for g7 m2, check it's price reduced 10k.

For external mic you have to go for dslr or mirrorless camera.
