Good Morning I have the same camera and have had it now for quite some time, and just out of interest what would be the best shutter speed for taking photos of moving trains ?
A shutter speed of 1/250 sec should be fast enough to freeze people walking around, whereas 1/500 sec is better if your subject is moving a bit quicker. For faster objects such as cars and birds in flight, shutter speeds of 1/2000 sec, 1/4000 sec or quicker are preferred.
That’s to adjust the viewfinder to suit your eyesight. So if you wear glasses, you can take them off and adjust the viewfinder until everything looks clear.
hi i have this camera for almost 3 to 4 years and its doing a great job for me but the only problem i got is when i want to upload the videos to my pc or my laptops its just show me that their is only pictures
Why does my Sony 63X 'bounce' maddeningly from one setting to another while I'm trying to take a shot? I'm no photographer, and just use it to take photos of items for sale on my website. I just want it to stay on 'EASY' all the time, but it constantly rolls around while I'm trying to take a picture. Thanks for any advice.
Hi the switcher may be stiff and may be more to 1 side making it switch between programmes. If not try resetting camera. If it still doesnt work camera may be faulty. Keep us updated. Like and subs thank you

Hi there, I have this same camera and I'm unable to record a good quality overhead video- literally filming my desk crafting from above. The lens is moving all over the place, smudges and jumps all over. Can you please try filming overhead and let me know which are the best setting to choose. Thanks a lot.
Hi do not really have the equipment for overhead recording for this type of weighted cameras. But I will try just to find best settings. I will upload a video for you. Hope this helps in mean time please like and subscribe. Thanks
Hi so a update on the overhead. Basically you will overhead rig, really bright lighting 6000k. And you will need to have camera further back as focus visit its strong suit. In terms of settings I found once all these above are done you can lower res video record.
Hi! I have recently just got this camera. When making videos, when I play them back there's alot of mechanical noise almost as if it's constantly trying to focus. Is this normal and due to lighting or do you think mine is faulty? Thanks

SELF-TIMER Off / 10 sec. / 2 sec. / portrait1 / portrait2. Do you mean reset the camera. As you can reset all setting . Hope this helps if you please give a thumbs up on video and subs would help a lot

Hi need more information. When you say mute. A) Is there a mute sign coming up that you can not remove. B) Playback when watching on camera no audio but works on other devices like transferring on phone or computer. C) doest have audio on any devices and you have tested on macs and pcs and phones.
@@Tech-Know-logy A) There is no sign showing mute. B) When i use the playback in the camera itself, I see the volume and it shows full but nothing can be heard. When it comes to transferring the video in other devices like my laptop, the audio in the video is still mute. C) My audio is just fine while working with other devices. I don't know why is it mute? unless i have clicked some button in the camera itself or else if there is no way i had to get it repaired.

Hi this seems like its a hardware issue not a software. 1st hold the mode switch still so it can't move and see if it still changes. If it does still change it could be software. The try.. 2nd try hard resetting the camera. This could fix it. If it doesn't then need to take to shops for repair
