This video camera is not working. In pt 1 we will have a look at this camera and then look at it internally to try and establish what has gone wrong. Any help or feedback on reparing this would be great please comment.
Yer all that wiring, no wonder there is so much shielding. I love the 60's and 70's electronics. Very interesting to look at compared to what we have today. Fingers crossed I'll get it working one day.
6:25 this really seems to be for fixes or changes after production, so you have a "more tidy" area to work in, instead of soldeirng here and there, glueing something there and so on. e.g. when you have to add an IC, you have a neat little breadboard :D That's my guess atleast... love your videos mate!
Not yet unfortunately. I was kind of hoping a viewer that owned or knows this camera may be able to point me in the right direction as to what the fault could be. I do have some other cameras that are working from around the same era that I will make videos about one day.
hi, just found your channel and i wonder if you could help me find a way of connecting a memory stick to a computer to see the photos! i found my dad’s old camera, its a sony DCR-TRV33R and it has a blue 8mb memory stick… please!! and thank you
Hi yes you need a USB type mini a. Then you connect to your PC and the USB stick will show up as a disc drive. Win 10 and 11 may not work so you may have to use an older windows environment. Or try a multi USB card reader that reads Sony memory sticks.
