All I want. ALL I WANT! Is a movie where Spider-Man faces off with Kingpin and teams up with Daredevil. I don’t care about any of the extra nonsense. There have been Superhero movies from bad to great for decades. Sony didn't even make the first Spider-Man movie 1977, just the first successful movie, because Sony didn't interfere with the making. They did interfere with the third movie, and it did so poorly, the fourth was cancelled. In short your comment has no connection to facts.

I'm of two minds about this. Tom Holland's Spiderman ISN'T in the Sonyverse so it goes BOTH WAYS. Somehow we got Vulture in the Sonyverse briefly and Venom "may" have briefly been in the MCU but honestly this is really about money. Sony wants more. Marvel is worried about making things worse with the fans. Sony wants to, is there a politically correct way of saying wallet violate?, fans as much as possible and worry about backlash later.

No, Marvel Studios needs to win for a Street Level Style Film for a 2026 Release Date, and it has to be adopted the Devil’s Reign Comic for it to be titled, “Spider-Man 4: Devil’s Reign”, so if that’s how we want it, then delay Avengers 5: Doomsday to May 7, 2027 and Avengers 6: Secret Wars for 2028 and 2029 Release Dates.

Sony isn’t the bad guy here. Both companies protecting their investments, and Marvel would do the same. No need to act as though Marvel is the “good guy” here. If Sony did the work, and owns the rights, then Marvel can purchase temporary usage in the same way that they would make Sony if the roles were reversed.

However, if a multiverse style movie is the direction, then at least give a battle between spider-man and the tom hardy venom who would be a variant of the main venom, obviously. Here’s my prediction,after Secret Wars once everything is rebooted we will get a comic accurate spider man setting in the MCU,which means a Harry Osborn,Norman Osborn,Venom,Mary Jane Watson,Gwen Stacy,Kraven,Oscorpe and many more will exist in the Mcu. And Marvel can introduce Miles Morales and Tom Holland can play the mentor role.

Sometime people get defensive over the Sony made spider man movies whenever I call for Sony to just give up and let marvel studios take over spider man.Their logic being that Sony has been capable of making good spider man stuff before and even now with spider verse. But it’s moments like these that make me realize that those good spider-man movies are good despite Sony. They are good because of the creatives involved not because of Sony themselves.

Lots of coping in the comments. Sony rightfully owns Spider-Man they can do what they want. This is going to benefit the property anyways. They’re using this as leverage to work out a different deal in 2026. Although I am a little biased because Disney killed a woman and is shutting down the wrongful death lawsuit because they had a free trial of Disney plus. That’s right. If you ever signed up for Disney plus, you can never sue Disney for anything as per the terms and conditions. Even if someone you love dies.
