Always good reviews here, and I really appreciate the phone call demonstrations, something many other reviewers apparently don't think is important. Thank you
Thanks for another great review. I've been searching for both earbuds and headphones in the last month and your videos have been extremely helpful. Keep it up!
Great review. I got the linkbud S and loving them. They are so comfortable! I don't use wireless charging for earbuds so that wasn't an issue. And for £120 great value. Curious to know what you think of LG's T90 with Dolby atmos and their fitness buds. LG does some great things with audio and I like the features of the case
I'm still using P30 pro (no need to replace) and the dolby atmos equaliser is much better than the one on the headphones app. Linkbuds s flat is a little muddy and muffled and the bass needs a boost. The old XM3s sound much better in all ways - clarity, bass, soundstage, dynamics, and imaging. However I got the S for going out convenience. With Atmos and a little boost on the bass in the headphones app, they can sound much better.
Great review. I was having random disconnect issues on the right earbud. Occasionally on the left. Annoying as heck because they would not automatically reconnect. I was able to fix the issue by returning them to Amazon. I rediscovered my Galaxy buds pro. They now sound better than ever [just crappy ambient sound].
Definitely a very late reply here... But was just watching this comparison and couldn't help but wonder, why wouldn't you just put silicone tips on the xm4? It seems like that was pretty much the only thing holding you back from them. Plus, we're not going to see a pro version as the pro is literally the flagship xm4.
In terms of using either earbud because they both pair, unless I'm missing a setup option this for my set is only true of the Right earbud. I can wear the Right earbud while charging the left. However, the moment I put the Right earbud in the charger the whole pair disconnects from my phone. I'm a left-ear listener, I'd prefer to be able to use the left for calls while leaving the Right earbud charging.
@@GCharlesE No, it was likey never an issue if you have DSEE I think that's the setting or if not the setting to creates 3D or surround...the buds in that mode are not intended to work independently... I turned the setting off and I use a single bud (L or R) and charge the other all the time
I just got a pair of Linkbuds S and honestly I don't get the praise about the good ANC, maybe i'm doing something wrong but the when turned on, the effect is very minimal, coming from Airpods Pros, the noise cancellation on those was MILES better
I love the battery life on those. I am absolutely I'm love with my pixel buds , but I would love 2 have a couple hours extra. I use airpods v3 as my backup buds.
I've been testing earbuds all week for this exact reason. Started with Samsung buds 2 pro, then jabra elite 7 pro, then Sony WF-1000xm4, then Linkbuds S, and now Soundcore Liberty 4. I'm down to the last 2 for mic quality. People have given me mixed feedback for each set, but are both the best sounding on the other end of the phone so far. I really want to love the Liberty 4s, but their ANC is severely lacking, and they're not as comfortable as the Linkbuds S. Have you made a choice yet??
How would you compare the sound of these to the Senny MTW 3? I love the v shape of the sennys, but unfortunately I'v had three pairs with a defective driver and am sick of senny's trash bluetooth earbuds QC. No, I haven't watched the video yet (don't have time right this moment) but I wanted to comment before it gets buried as more people comment.
@@Triple-6 the driver issue is that there are times when there is no subbass present in music. The MTW 3 (when they were working correctly for me) have this rumbly bass with a punchy midbass, but with this driver defect there are times when the music sounds tinny with no bass at all or no subbass but mid bass is present. I had a perfect seal, but the bass performance was too inconsistent. Read the one star reviews on Amazon and you'll see a review (not mine) that also mentions this driver problem. I won't wait till a firmware update (I don't even think that will fix the problem). I am done with sennheisers notoriously bad QC for their true wireless earbuds.
(NOTE: LINKSBUDS S already got MultiPoint update, and XM4 not having it yet kinda sad) yep buy Linksbuds S instead, because i already buy both of them firstly i buy linksbuds s but i keep thinking xm4 and bought it too, but i instanly regret to buy xm4, everything is better for Linksbuds S, Comfortable, Sound, ANC, and more stable Connection with LDAC 990kbps even greater if u just use AAC (because more batterylife), the only downside is Batterylife shorter little bit compare xm4 but for me its just enough 6 hours constant ANC, the xm4 is just pain at the ear, and not perfectly fit in the ear (because of this the anc little bit compromise) im thinking to sell this XM4 because in my country there is no money back refund :(. (NOTE: u get higher chance get defect unit with xm4 rather than Linksbuds S) i hope u guys make the wise purchase, dont be like me...
i got these to replace a pair of XM4's and i love them. They're so much more comfortable and i can actually get a decent seal rather than the awful foam eartips. I tweaked the EQ according to another youtuber's recommendations and I honestly cannot tell any difference than the XM4's.
Hey!! I'm thinking of buying the bose quiet comfort earbuds, but I use an android device and they only support AAC and SBC, will that be a problem for me??
haha very confusing Sony...but this is really good earbuds apparently. They have crated the miniature version of WF1000XM4 ...hope they will bring something new in WF-1000xm5 (snug fit )
Nothing Ear 1 , 1More Comfobuds Pro, Nuratune these are are the real buds with best call quality outside of the 'heavily marketed big players' that everyone always recommends.
