Hi I just found my md player in the attic same model as the video. I've just tried to play a minidisc but is says 'read error'. It does this on all mds I play. Do you know why this is? I would be very grateful for your response.

I suspect laser.... can be something with the sled or need cleaning. You have to take it apart or at least use cleaning disc first
