While this is not as entertaining as most of Vince's videos, it is really helpful and practical.

Hi my names Vince from my mate Vince dot com and today I'm going to show you how to ressemble a ps2 slim.

This was very relaxing to watch. PS2s are that way in general, i think, very easy to reassemble, stress free and relaxing. I had that feeling at least when i put a new laser unit into my own PS2 and replaced the old shell with a magenta-colored, transparent aftermarket shell. It felt like fun, doing it ^_^ Doing timelaps things might break what You do free from the "routine" but i think that's what Your channel is famous for, You doing things while You talk, sharing Your thoughts on what You do. I enjoyed this "silent" version too though ^-^

Vince this was a great post. It reminded me, aesthetically of some Children's Production Workshop, educational video segment, shown on Public TV in the States, in the 70's / 80's. Its the music mostly, but still, a cross between "How Its Made" and a "Sesame Street" segment. Its very smoothly produced, and on point - a real appetizer to your other work. You don't have to do this often, but I can see a return to this style occasionally, if you are up to it. I don't know how hard it was to make, but it looked like it took a lot of time. It was very pleasant, and entertaining.

Very useful these types of videos! Just in case you struggle to work out how to re-assemble something! Taking something to bits is easy, putting it back together not so easy!

Interesting video, pretty useful if you have exactly that model of PS2 slim. I have three, and all three of them are different. The first one has holes in the back where you can screw in accessories (like a screen), the second one doesn't have these holes and the third one has an integrated PSU.

After a quality video like this I would not be the least bit surprised if @ifixit offers you a job lol 😂

TBH, it would've been nicer if you had thrown in thermal paste or cooling pads on all of those chipsets. Because it can preserve the chip sets of the PS2 slim.

Man the ribbon cable was a nightmare.

Yeah I personally don't like this style of video either. Maybe if it was prefaced with a voice over saying in this series of videos I will be taking apart a _______________. This will be useful for_____________. I can see the purpose of this video as this channel started out as somewhere you come to find out how to do things, but personally if this would be the only content on here going forward (there is nothing to suggest this is the case), I would most likely not watch. That is not a petulant "announcing my exit" statement, hopefully constructive feedback.
