@@potatorigs2155it doesn't matter how much it is. All that matters is does the price point offer good value? This question changes depending on the type of gamer you are. If you play only a few games a year then it's probably not for you, if you play a lot of games a year then it probably is for you. Or in my case the whole family play a huge array of different games so for me even with the price increase it's still good value. If the price rises beyond this narrative then it's easy enough to cancel it.

Price increase, no day one content, demos, and cloud saves. And that is a better deal in their eyes? Cloud saves should be a standard upon creating an account. Demos shouldn't be paywalled behind a subscription. And premium doesn't even provide the latest games on day one? Sure, monthly subscription cost is USD 13.33, which is USD 6.66 less than game pass ultimate but heck at least it's new games to try every 2 weeks, whether I like it or not, that's up to me.

PlayStation has increased their prices and yet they did not put in any value whatsoever no backwards compatibility no day and Day games on the service no actual multiplayer games that I don't know PlayStation players that want to play why would they pay for PlayStation plus if they don't even have multiplayer games to play
They added a premium paywalled backwards compatibility feature that sucks ass literally crashes constantly had terrible frame rates no added HDR or frame rate boosters, no working DLC or online play, and even removed "in game assets" because the emulator they "paywalled" you for sucks so badly they had too remove content like VFX trees rocks etc even some games featured removed character artwork and model pieces 😂😂😂😂😂
Personally, I don't like the increase but it's understandable especially the ABK acquisition. I would hope that after they recoup the cost they reduce the cost (least likely though). But it doesn't impact me much as I buy three month subscription codes that's much cheaper in the long run.

Well, you guys that are buying game pass you’re doing it wrong.. for those of us that know we don’t pay for it we use our Microsoft points. We build up points by playing games or searching things on the web through Microsoft edge or all phones constantly building points up to pay for the game pass

I think they needed to fix the tier system and with this they are making you understand why you sub to Ultimate over standard GP... I'm not happy but that's day 1 1st party... Subscriptions always suck, regardless of platform and content. I have a Playstation 5, but I keep up with the news on every platform. And fuck if I'm paying a single cent for subscriptions. And if I'm being honest, PC is where it's at. Not PS, not Xbox, not Nintendo. PS5 and Xbox Series had the potential of surpassing PC, but after these years, how many games did we get that make good use of that hardware? Barely a few. I'm not a fanboy of anything here, I'm just a gamer looking at the entire landscape. It just fucking sucks all around. As gamers we shouldn't be happy when something like this happens. Regardless of the platform of choice. Our freedoms and possibilities are slowly taken away, and y'all just busy bickering. I'll tell you something, even if that Playstation I have is nice to have for couch play, I'll do most of my gaming on my high end PC. At least there, I get to keep whatever I play, and I won't have to pay to use the bandwidth that I already have. Do I regret not going for Xbox? Hell no. There's no point in getting an Xbox console, as most of these titles also come for PC. And there's no point in paying any kind of game subscription, unless you're financially set for life, and you can spend the entire day playing games. These console wars are fucking stupid. As someone who subscribes to both services, the problem with PS Plus is that a lot of the time, the games that drop into the service were added to gamepass around 6 months prior which decreases the value of PS Plus for me as I can't be bothered playing through the games again. While this increase is slightly annoying (it's only £24 a year more in reality), knowing that there will be quite a significant number of day one titles dropping into the service from both first and 3rd party studios more than covers the increase cost.
