Make sure you get the Genuine Phillips bulb replacement amzn.to/2GLjCSF and not a third party bulb. Don't forget to clean the air filter and vents.

I changed my bulb 2 weeks ago and everything worked fine, but now it keeps shutting off and it has the lamp cover light underneath flashing. Any idea what's causing it?

Hi, my 45es Bulb just popped after little over 7000 hours. picture started dimming as you said. Was still watchable in certain presets, then just popped. Will the 45es be similar to your model when it comes too changing bulb.

Thanks for sharing any plan on upgrade to 4K Sony projector? We have almost the same projector I have the es45 I'm thinking of 4K Sony projector my screen is Elite Screen it's a ambient light absorbing you can watch it in lights on and daylight also.

how do i replace a bulb for thw sony vplvw385es?? do I just buy any bulb??I don't want to buy a projector if I can't replace the bulb ice tried Google and Amazon and it's hard to find a bulb

You can find the bulb at amzn.to/2qqSHoR. Changing the bulb shouldn't be much different then the one i worked on.
