I'm using it in the gym. it's good not heavy for a workout but if you like very loud music then it's not for you because even in full volume it sounds like 85-90% percent vol.

Hi! No, I don't think you have to go to the xm4. The xm4 noise canceling and call quality is better but sound profile, comfort is comparable between the 910n and the xm4.

So you're saying they sound muffled? Overall how is the sound on your opinion?

@@JackJWang-kl6mp I’m no audio expert but even compared to all the xm’s, for me these sound like they just can’t offer the same level of balance. I’m sure overall they sound good for many types of listeners, but if you have pretty sensitive perception and have enjoyed better audio, it’s not unlikely that you’ll get frustrated chasing the EQ with these CONSTANTLY… trying to find the same balance. For me, being so annoyingly sensitive and OCD in general, I’d rather the 910’s just officially be in a much cheaper category so I could accept that and maybe enjoy them for what they’re worth. But it’s like they’re close enough to the xm’s to keep searching for settings that finally will expose their best potential. Also what’s annoying is how different each NC mode sounds from one another… compared also to the xm series. Wired also isn’t as impressive as it could be. But again, I can understand how these get such high ratings overall because they’re not shitty at all. If they were it’d be easier to live with their sound lol. If anyone’s got advice on a good EQ for a balanced powerful sound for mostly rock I’d love to hear. Also, obviously they’re bass heavy which in itself can be frustrating depending on how different some tracks can be produced, but that’s still a pretty easy thing to adjust compared to the mids. That’s where I struggle the most

@@akaLuptonPittman thanks for your opinion bud, ended up buying them and i'm okay with them, i've tried the xm5's and they're way better in sound and even sometimes i kinda regret the purchase but i dont use them that much Overall they're okay, i used to eq them to treeble boost but the voices and the music sounded like they were two song separated from each other so i ended up with +4, +6, +4, +3, +6 and now they the vocals and the music sound really good mixed together, i do change the eq in certain songs

Does it have the same clarity/loudness/volume than some Apple Earpods (I own em, hence the comparison asking) or do you need to adjust it in the device's settings to make it happen?. Also, tried the headset with a music player (Device or PC)?. If so, does it sounds as good like when you listen it with PC speakers or do they have more bass etc again?

No, the xb910n have much more bass than the m4's but if you want to have clearer Sound and better noise canceling the m4's will be a better option but like i said in terms of bass the xb910n are much better and the noise canceling is fine too also there cheaper

The 910 are more modern, more comfortable, and similar bass. The 910 overall sounds better imo. The 950bt were released in 2016 and I still remember the memes about looking like a you got hockey pucks on your ears.

I have them both and I return the 910. The 950 has more bass and the volume is louder. I thought it was just me, but my wife listens to both and said the same thing. The 950 is louder at max volume on both and the 950 has more bass when enabling the bass button. Even maxing out the bass with the app on the 910, the bass is still inferior the the 950. The 950 is the winner IMHO. However, the 950 has a designed flaw where somewhere in time the hinge will break.

@@clearboxhd8250 I returned my XB910 the same day I bought them. Bought the Skullcandy Crusher Evo and WOW! I'm a music producer and I listen to all genre from Rap to Classical. The XB910 do no justice with Rap, Trance, R&B, Trap, EDM. Does well with Country, Classical, New Age, Alternatives, Rock but then, most headphone do well with these genres even the unknown brands. You separate the boys from the men with you put the headphones to the test with Rap, Trance, Trap, EDM type of music and the Skullcandy Crushers Evo put the Sony XB910 or 900 to shame really.

hi! The Bose QC45 and the Sony 1000XM4 are my favorites for premium NC headphones but the h910n is really good value. The best deal is still the Bose QC35 - II if you can get them around 175 USD or lower but the ANC is better on the QC45 and Sonys.

Yeah and even at the $124 price… once you’re spoiled with great sound, saving $$ doesn’t matter. Rather just not have them and not struggle to believe I like them

But if you spend two weeks listen carefully to these brand new headphones, you will realize these Sony's sound was really very muddy with no detail. I returned mine. Yes, price was cheap. But would I sacrifice my listening experience to a few less dollars? No.

Yes there is manual control on EQ. You can totally turn off bass or set bass level from 1 to 10

Music choice is, great

If you want great sound and bass without the noise canceling, I recommend the Sony c500. On sale, I've seen them as low as $70 and well balanced with EQ you can adjust via the app.
