Thank you brother, you're so kind. I was going to do a more in-depth look but it wasn't worth it because the math is too much to replicate. You have to keep going until it works and hope you don't go to far. For that reason it's better I just send the mount to Tom to make a clean version. Thanks again bro 🙌🏾

you can unscrew the mount and mod it far from the camera! it would be great to have a mod for the m-lite so to have the bayonet mounted with the right angle and have numbers in the right position!

Thank you 🙌🏾 I did think of that but the problem is the lens release latch. That would also need to be moved and mounted on springs etc. Making a new latch would increase the flange and the lenses wouldn't be able to focus properly.

@@Altcine just had this thought, you may have already as well, but what if you design the knew mount to have a locking pin in both locations?? So when one is in use, the other is just compressed against the mount, that would allow anamorphic support for either mount!

Yep, great idea. Someone mentioned this in another comment and gave a good breakdown of how to do it. I think it might be possible.

@@Altcine It will likely take at least three extra machining operations: two holes and a notch. One hole to anchor one end of the of the leaf spring, and another hole to accommodate the locking pin. The notch allows the unlocking tab of the leaf spring to emerge from the side of the mount (potential light leakage must be considered). Of course, the spring has to be fastened, which requires a fastener (rivet) and a fastening operation. It would probably be best to outsource the spring with the pin to an outfit that specializes in such items. I imagine that the spring could be similar in configuration to the one on the Fotodiox/Pixco M4/3-to-E adapter, but it would possibly sit inside your mount, and it would only require a single mounting hole as the locking pin in its hole will keep the spring aligned.

That I'm not sure as I haven't looked into it. This would still require you to drill through the Sony mount with a precision drill and you'd still have the lens release catch to deal with.

We've been testing a few m cams and found that some are different. The M, M2 and M6 mkii all different. I'll be testing the M50 soon.

The M-Lite can only work with the original Eos-M at the moment. There's only 2 m cams that work with ML. The original and M2 but the M2 is a very basic build and cannot be compared to crop mood.

The only way this could be possible is if you rotate the mount on the back of the lens. I haven't tried this yet but will definitely try on an older lens and adapter soon.

Thank you, I'm not entirely sure I know what you mean. There are lenses which the mount can be changed...if the mount is available. We will supply these camera mount for people to change at home so it's just a matter of 4 screws.

You can if they allow you to adjust iso and aperture manually. I still need to do a lot of testing though because I don't want mismatched contacts causing any electrical faults.

Unfortunately that's impossible. I quoted the flange distance in the video. Increasing this by even 1mm would make the lens useless. This is the only way it can be done.

Hi mate, The 18-35 is the best lens I've tested on the eos-m. Every time I shoot with that in good light the images look amazing!. You've actually just given me a good idea to do a Top 3 Eos-M lenses video 👍🏾👍🏾

I'd also be interested to see, as you said the MF-mount and of the sirui anamorphic lenses on the EOS M? True the anamorphic line up wouldn't be correct, but it would be interesting to see? I also wonder as sirui's MF lenses are cheaper then their full-frame so it would be a win-win in my eyes :) @@Altcine
