I made this with blueberry topping over the cream cheese and no cinnamon. It’s a keeper. And very easy to make.

When I was a kid we didn't get a lot of sweet treats. When we went out to eat we could get a sopapilla for each of us and we ate the top off and filled them with butter and honey at the restaurant. They are sooooo goooood. overload on sugar and daddy knew it but we didn't get it very often so he let us go at it. This brought back some childhood memories for me. Thank you 🥰

I unroll the dough onto a parchment covered cookie sheet and set it in the fridge for about 10 min. This makes it easier handling the top dough. Have made this desert many, many times. It is fool proof. I have even talked my husband making this on the phone when I was out of town and he had a craving for this.

I make this, but instead of butter and cinnamon, I bake then make a powdered sugar icing to drizzle over . We call them cheese pockets. Like a cheese Danish but with lots if the cheese. Looks yummy. I love watching you all.

Ms. Lori: I made this for our family's Easter dinner. Everyone who put that first bite in their mouth, almost fell out. It was soooo good!!! As a matter of fact, they all went back for seconds and my husband, bless his heart, was a little slow and missed out completely. 😂 thanks for the awesome recipe. This looks & sounds delicious! I started mixing a log of plain goat cheese without 1/2 the amount of cream cheese for my raspberry cheesecake recipe. It makes for a lighter more palatable flavor. I always follow the recipe exactly then make adjustments if we make a second time. I have a phyllo dough I can use so maybe I'll try and layer that for the dough. 😂 I'm excited to make this! I make cheesecake Danish like that, take crescent roll dough whole and cut down the log lay flat indent the middle put in this filling sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and bake Yum 😋 sooo goood

I had seen a recipe that was similar to this but yours looks much much better. I bought some butter crescent roll dough so I can make this tomorrow (Saturday). Perfect timing! Was searching dessert ideas for Easter Sunday.

I can't wait to make this! Today I'm making strawberry rice krispie treats with strawberry marshmallow fluff & candy nerds on top for the grandkids. I cut them with Easter cookies cutters. Cute & tasty. Now I'm making lemon rice krispie treats for the adults. Adding lemon curd to the marshmallow then I'm going to sprinkle crushed freeze dried strawberries on top.

I got a wild hair to put some honey in my butter and I did add that apple filling since my husband likes the apple and so do my grand babies although I did leave about 1/3 plain.
