Sweet Odin's Raven! Why did I miss this at the time?! I have a total crush on Sophie Ellis-Bextor since her days in Theaudience, and here she is dancing a tango to one of my favourite songs. Stop the bus.
I love Sophie so much i wanna see her get to the final because she is so amazing and the judges only give her a tough time because they KNOW how good she can be in the coming weeks!!!!
Another undermarked dance.. Yes I'm still bitter about her not winning. Brendan clearly didn't enjoy dancing with any of his partners as much as he did with Sophie, you can see that in the dances he gave her/them. So beautiful to watch! Aaaaah why
Brendan Cole like Dancing with Lisa Snowdon in 2008 he got to the Final with her l didn't want Tom chambers to win in 2008 Rachel Stevens or Lisa Snowdon should have won.
They got the action reaction thing SPOT ON this was mesmerising the technique was absolutely there I hardly see Argentine tangos these days where it honestly does look like the partners don’t know what is coming next and are just reacting to the previous action. However this was insane. How it didn’t score 40 is beyond me.
I understand tastes vary... but can't understand anyone being harsh about Sophie's character performance. It's often preferable for the female to appear emotionally melancholic while dancing the Argentine Tango.
I didn't know that; someone I used to know was a semi pro dancer and said that the woman's part was to be kind of pissed off in a tango. Anyway, I thought she did a marvellous job.
This time I agreed totally with the Judges, the dance was amazing but she needs to pull out different character. I was expecting something a bit fire like from Big bang Brendan, but what I love about his partnership with Sophie is he style the dances to fit her personality, It all Got Sophie signature, alright she needs to give us the unexpected side of her, Wowing Us, hopefully they'll pull the fierce Sophie in Blackpool
It's really interesting, I think the cool-ness is something she has picked up from her pop star days, as she always sang with that kind of attitude too. She seems like a totally different character off-stage.
Really wish that people would stop being such nasty critics to her. I thought she danced this amazingly after her dip last week and so what if she lacked a bit of passion? It could have gone horribly wrong and people expect so much after her charleston and I really think to say that this dance is disappointing is wrong in my opinion,j thought it should have got at least one 9.
Definitely better than last week but she still has that annoying nonchalance to her dances, almost as if she bored. Brilliant dancing but I want to see some character
Totally agree. The dancing was brilliant but she really does need to actually get into character too, if she brings that in then it would be a complete performance.
GREATEST LOVE? The song ‘the greatest love of all’ is an example of non-Biblical, feel good rhetoric, which can pass as Christian, but is really worldly in nature, origin, and essence. Yes the children are our future, but pride comes before a fall. Jesus is our hero to look up to, He fulfils our needs and we can’t depend on ourselves. The greatest love of all is Jesus’ love for us, not learning to love yourself.
If this TV program is bad enough to put on RU-vid for people to view for free then why waist TV licence fees with it? Stop churning out crap like this BBC
