Fun fact: Argentine tango used to be danced only by men when it first came about. I think John and Johannes did an amazing job! (I'm from Argentina, if it counts for something 🤭)

Score: *10* *in my Bruno's voice* It was like watching two stallions dancing in a pool of fire! It was amazing!! Nice control, they are definitely using that changing lead to their advantage. GANCHOS!!! My goodness, executed superbly. This was by far the dance of the night for me! WOW! WOW! WOW!

Looked like a masterpiece. Glad that these two didn't hold themselves back and went all out. It had intricated footwork and sensual vibe to it. These two are doing a phenomenal job at morally uplifting many around the world!

Ok, THAT WAS EPIC! But can we talk about Johannes's entrance for a second!? Like, camera trickery at its finest, he came out of nowhere like pure magic!

Craig, darling, who we have to kill for you to finally give John and AJ their more than earned 10? This is the second time John was pure fire ok that dance floor! This should’ve been his second 40 after the Paso Doble! I want John, AJ and Rose in the finals!

No matter how far down I look, there are nothing but positive, happy, enamored and awe struck comments. I rarely see an entire thread gushing with honest, unbiased positivity. I think that in itself exclaims what these two bring to the table. You know you have a brilliant thing when you can bring this many people together in excitement.

I hope I don’t offend anyone but I don’t see two men dancing together but just two absolutely fantastic dancers. I lost interest in Strictly in the past few years but after seeing John and Johannes I can’t wait to see what they do next. Does Johannes have any bones in his body, my kiddy aunt he is so fluid!! Their dancing is 10 10 10 10. 😍

Gotta admit that I was initially cynical about their partnership because Johannes is the only gay pro and the pairing seemed cliche, but they've legit been KILLING IT EVERY WEEK. Been waiting ALL SERIES for this and was NOT disappointed! The dance exudes strength, passion, and masculinity, and absolutely did it justice, given its same-sex history. Definitely one of my favs!

I think it should've gotten 40- this was amazing! And for an Argentine tango which is quite difficult this was outstanding

Score - *10/10* Oh Craig I thought the ten would have came out 😔. So much drama and emotion, every move had detail, drive, charisma and character. Some of the leg action was amazing, the lift sequence was absolutely mesmerising at the end, the start with the whole side by side section and the hat work was total mirror image. It was an extremely different AT to usual which I really enjoyed because it had so much content, I loved how tight and personal this was it really felt that tonight they let go and just delved into things. It was one amazing dance that's for sure, emotionally and technically captivating. Just dynamite 🥵. John's best dance of the whole series by far!

Three really amazing couples. The professionals have been wonderful in their choreography and teaching and these three celebs, (all of them in the series) have worked so hard. The best season yet.

For me this was the best dance of the season so far. These men look so good as a couple. Their height and look packs an extra strength to their performances. I was so looking forward to seeing it on the night and who could be disappointed with that power and professionalism.

After I've watched them dance several times, I always watch the videos a few times with the sound off, and it is always a remarkable experience. My mind makes its own music or sometimes no music at all, and without the built in soundtrack you can see even more how remarkabie these two men are. It is unfathomable how they can achieve such beauty in only a few days. I can only imagine how close to perfect they could be with a few weeks to work on each dance. A 40 score would always seem too low.

Oh yes! I felt that these two had plateaued and had peaked too soon but this is a massive step up. The passion, the drama, the fire - all of it was just electric. The argentine tango's original story was that of a fight between two bitter (and male) rivals and that was so clear in this dance. Technically very strong as well. 10

Breathtaking. This dance sequence took my breath away. John effortlessly kept up w/Johannes (who is a phenomenal dancer). The dance had all the drama, fire, power, control, coverage/command of the hardwood, and double-ended machismo; I wanted more. I don’t know why it didn’t score a 40(?). (John has got a bodacious bum.). [FYI: Here in the US, our “Dancing w/Stars” just wrapped up; our first female same-sex couple came in 2nd.]

My favorite after the Paso and the Edith Piaf number (in the bakery-that just looked so fun!). John was saying he was gonna take complete lead in this number.Outstanding baby boy!Brava!

They literally moved as one. John brought truly one hundred percent to this dance! Up there with AJ and Kai's Argentine Tango. I loved it!! He was as strong and as powerful as a flame, and Beethoven really helped. Goddamn, he was sooooo robbed of a 40.

Beethoven's 5th was used a few years ago by Kevin Clifton for his AT with Frankie Bridge .... it's on You Tube. Scored 38. Epic.

Made me cry, the intensity was astonishing, beautifully choreographed by Leandro and Maria to reflect the dance's origins as a same sex partnership where the men would show off their skills to attract the attention of the prostitutes in the bordellos. This was powerful and yet it still kept the close feel of the kind of Argentine Tango (Stage) style you could see at the Mundial (not saying they're of that quality however!)

OMG these two men are GORGEOUS and this was smoulderingly sensual, intimate and intense...every move was choreographed beautifully and the execution was simply stunning! Definitely the best dance of the evening and I just love these two. It deserved a 40 and Craig needs to get a life, imao!

Love watching John and Johannes' performances but I also have to applaud the set designers on Strictly as well. Every week they come up with stunning scenery and lighting designs for each dance. For me, the sets have become a major part of the entertainment each week. Well done!
