I’m both geeked for Sophie getting a big cultural moment off Saltburn, and The Last Dinner Party having the massive moment at the same time, leading to this perfect crossover. This is one of 2024’s best moments.
I've just returned from The Last Dinner Party's concert in Paris tonight. It was terrific.🔥In 2 weeks, it's Sophie's turn to play in Paris. 🤩Feel free to sing the cover at the Bataclan.
This version is so good it sounds like one of her own compositions .I think this should be released as a single .I now want to hear The Last Dinner Party do a cover of Murder On The Dancefloor !
Fantastic cover. Hadn't heard the original - but I went and checked that out too. Sophie made this her own, and it really suited her voice. The band performed well. And... have to say, the original is quite nice too. Might check out other songs by The Last Dinner Party.
This is great. Just wish that in 2024 we'd all mature enough to allow unedited versions of the song to be sung. Not like kids don't hear that sort of language all the time.
I've always been a Sophie Ellis Bextor fan and recently discovered The Last Dinner Party. And this song fits both artists so well Both have such unique voices
I love this version because she's so specific with the lyrics. Don't think people recognize how stunning Abigail's words really are unless they really listen. One of our finest songwriters today. Well St. Vincent is my fave but for her age she is quite prolific. Sexy little morsel too! 💃🏻 You want a front woman with so much pizZaZz!
