In this video I show an easy-ish kill confirm combo for Sora in Smash Ultimate. Just remember you have to be pretty close for this to work!

Also worth mentioning this works from dropping down from a platform as well. Sora could even do something similar after his first two hits of a combo in the air, due to a specific combo cancel mechanic that he has!

bayo has the same mechanic. if you use your right stick for ariels you can do: right stick for fair1 ---> right stick for fair2 while simultaneously flicking left stick down, and sora will fast fall the 2nd fair instead of rising to finish the 3 hit combo, letting you confirm with fair 2 which I find easier.

I'm working on something similar myself, I am kind of bad at technical moves in Smash so my fast-fall is weak, but fast-falling from the second hit of Nair is very easy and can easily lead to F-Smash. Not sure if it's any easier on GC controller or Pro Controller, been doing this in hand-held mode

Theres an infinite loop you can do with this aswell as the second hit of his Fair aswell its super difficult you can also fast fall fair into up B for confirms since he has alot of combo confirms their just difficult to do @JaydenXV

Sakurai did mention that although the DLCs are over, he's not done with the game. There's more events and patches planned

I don't see an issue. Many characters have similar ko setups at medium to high percents.

I think you mean tech(?) It looks like you can DI out of it if you get hit only by the tip of the fair but you wouldn't be able to tech on landing. I didn't test it though and this is just speculation, so take it with a grain of salt.

What I meant by "new" is new to smash. A lot of the characters who punch or kick use the same set of sound effects, for example. A couple of characters have unique get sound effects though.

Note: also works with NAirs as well. Short hop fast fall - Up Smash works great Short hop - Neutral B is great too. (Easy Blizzaga) Short hop fast fall - DTilt into: 1) Jab Combo 2) Up Tilt (into jump + 3 hit combo in the air for more damage) 3) Up B (in high percents, DTilt launches higher up; easy kill as well) 4) Up Tilt into Up B

Kazuya makes him look like a complete joke in both power and recovery. Only good thing about Sora is the air combos and recovery, he has much better control in air fighting than the characters who have *wings.*

You can do the fair or nair and then press Z doing fast falling and it will resolve as a second hit and allows you to also do that kill confirm or do it with Up smash. I also didn't believe it at first and it came out randomly but it works.

Sorry, I'm not very good with English. After using the first Air attack (the air combo), be it Nair or Fair, the second do it using the Z and moving the stick down fast as if you were doing a Fast Fall, if you do it correctly you will connect the second Air Attack (the Z will read it to you as A) and you'll hit the ground fast enough to do an Up Smash or F-Smash.

Not necessarily. Even bottom tiers like Incineroar can have kill confirms off quick aerials. Gotta look at the whole package. It's a bit too early to say Sora's placement.

This is literally Short Hop put into Smash. If that's intentional, the faithfulness to the original gameplay is insane. If you don't know what it is check Soraalam1's video "How to Be Better at Kingdom Hearts", it's the first tip.

works w nair too. u can also rising fair 1 to ff nair 1 OR. rising nair 1 into ff nair 2 & the fsmash combos. if u space it right (quick micro dash) u can get an up smash too

I'm taking a guess but it sounds like you're inputting the smash attack while your stick is still down from fast falling. Input the fastfall and let the stick reset to neutral and then do an fsmash.

Oh boy, secret's out. The timing does vary depending on the characters floatiness, what part of the hitbox you used, and at high percentages it can stop working. But yea it's filthy, ngl.

@@shikarixox1195 you can press x + a at the same time to get a short hop aerial attack or if you have 2 buttons for jump, you can press them at the same time and it will give you a short hop! It’s way easier than tapping the button super fast unless you have a bumper button set to jump

My issue with this is that Fastfall Fair is not safe on shield at all, at least at the range needed to land this on most characters. I could be doing something wrong with that though.

Not a big issue, going for that is super telegraphed and punishable on block. Its basically falling nair 1 which Marth, Lucina and Roy have.

Sora may have an easy kill confirm but he's also slow, light and super floaty so only time will tell how good he'll be. Lucina also has N-Air 1 into Forward Smash and Joker has F-Air 1 into "EVERYTHING."

it's pretty easy to land though sora's air mobility is pretty fast and he isn't that slow. He's faster than wolf actually lol.

@@MaximeFrjq yeah for sure, short hopping on stage is key with sora, using double jump is hardly needed unless your on the sides of the stage or off stage
