@House Lannister Relax, I said "practically", not "actually". I'm well aware they never outright state any such thing. But they lean into it really, *really* heavily. There are PLENTY of people regardless of preference that agree that it's obvious. Ike, of course, is completely oblivious. But Soren? Hoo boy.

Soren is like Katarina, a tactician who was treated shit by everybody. It wasn't till they met the blue haired mercenary(Ike/Kris) who were the few to respect and care for them. That they became attached.

It sucks that they are sentiment.. it's been stated that they are simply weaker Echoes/Clones of the original heros.. that doesn't make a difference considering they are self-aware echoes

SO many people considered it canon that Soren and Ike were lovers. While Soren obviously has an obsession for him, I'm glad this game has made it clear that it was just normal fan shipping and not canonical 😂

@@Jauloid Literally any conversation between Ike and Soren in this game. And I'm glad when anyone is annoyingly incessant about something untrue and then are proven wrong. Same thing when everyone was proven wrong with the "Switch 2" rumors.

Yeah, the game make it soooo clear that they decided to put Soren, one of the characters that has an special ending in the canon games when paired with Ike; than one of the many popular female characters that were relatively closed to Ike (Elincia, Lethe, Mia, etc) which none of them have any special bond/ending with Ike.

@@astrolatte_ You know this is DLC right? They're putting a lot of characters from other games in. Does that mean Camilla and Corrin are a pair too? What about Tiki and Marth? This is the kind of straw grasping that created the fan shipping of Ike and Soren to begin with.
