two days ago I did squats and bulgarian squats. the DOMS going on in the booty is pretty rough right now. I know I'm going to be slow and not jumping my best when I hoop tomorrow. I just added these exercises back in after cycling off for 6 weeks, and they are lighting me up right now!
Hey Isaiah, Do you think than with your quite old video which talks about a schedule to do at home to increase vert is really useful? As well as training in the gym?
isaiah have u guys ever had anyone struggle with pain on the tibial tuberosity. ive stopped growing now so im not sure if its osgood schlatter or something else. thanks, love the vids
All the info is in these videos! Keep learning and take your time. During my season I had this exact pain and it was the first time I’ve ever had pain like this in my knee. Got a big bump on my tuberosity and because I wanted to keep making gains and keep jumping I allowed the pain to get to an 8/10 and had to stop jumping all together. 8 months later I’m chilling at a 3/10 day to day, and that’s because I learned to stop doing what made things feel worse the next day. My trainer has also helped me a ton but so has everything I’ve learned from watching these videos. Keep learning, follow the protocols, and it will get better 🤙🏽
@@carsonhilburn preciate you boss. so youd say to take a break when the pain gets bad, and overtime progressively get stronger so that your legs are used to the load? any stretches or isometrics that u feel helped u in particular? thanks again.
Knee extension iso for sure have helped. Not really taking a break, you just need to take a step back and slowly build up to where your knee can take it again. If you stop altogether and try to get back into it you’ll flare up, it’s about getting stronger but first decrease what you’re doing and slowly build back up to it.
hey, my name is john and I am just barely dunking on 10 feet I want play college basketball but I think I probably will only be 6'2, so I figure if I want to play college basketball I need to be dunking in the lane almost every time, even though I probably don't need to have such a high vertical as this I really want to be able to acceive this, do you think maybe you could give me a explosive/vertical workout that I could use to acceive this , I am also 14 years old, thank you.
6foot 2 college guards dont just go dunk everytime bro. They need to have handles and shooting to survive at that height. Unless u are Ja and u just fly over people but how many players u see are like that in college 😅😅
Yesterday i played basketball, ran 7 games like usual. But the past three times, after playing basketball my knee feels stiff, cant fully bend it, a little swelling, cant really put weight on it independently. Im 30, 6ft 180lbs.
I think the content is amazing, excellent info!! However, the presentation format and how the info is conveyed need just a bit rework to jump boost the views I imagine... It's very easy to lose track in chitchats and no written info to look at throughout the length of the video, and key points are not emphasized enough as to be distinguished immediately. Just an honest opinion! Thx for the info though
