Hi. I wouldn’t say you lied about it per se. it’s just that you changed your mind, which is fine! You’re allowed to do that. I’ve done this myself, even though I’m not an influencer!
I felt that when you said it's a privilege to age but my undereyes just aren't the same. And don't let me miss out on a few hours of sleep 😒🥲. I've been using the Lancome Camouflage concealer for about 2 years, and it does the job for me. I have minimal to no creasing so I'll continue to buy it unless something changes.
My favorite concealer has been reformulated, so idk anymore. Runner up is Nars radiant creamy concealer for light/medium days. For full beat, it's pat McGrath. A little goes a long way for me with the one, though.
Hourglass I have to be super careful with. Glad I bought the mini size. I find that adding Iconic Londons new concealer or Givenchy will help with the dryness but keep the coverage. Favorite I have found is Haus Labs and Pacifica Dreamlit Glow.
BTW, I used to think like you when it comes to how people perceive you with or without makeup. I have noticed (especially at work) that recently I get more comments that feel negative about me wearing makeup to work. Like, instead of just a compliment about my eyeshadow...they end it by saying...I can't be bothered by getting ready before work, or I never wear makeup to work.
Happy New year youngn! ❤❤❤ the confidence!Definitely agree with you about skin changes as you age. I’m gonna be 50 in a couple months, and I get it! For under eyes, I tend to prime with the Milk under eye primer and absolutely love the Born This Way concealer. If I color correct, I do enjoy the huda beauty in mango for my complexion! Keep vibing high!
Great video as usual! I would love to see a video of what you returned. I rarely wear makeup but the last time I had a concealer it was by MAC. I need to get out the house & put some makeup on.
I’m sorry, I don’t ever talk makeup but I’m always watching. I’m a MAC girl, except for mascara and eyebrows. I just started venturing out with eyeshadow. I really like Juvia’s Place and I’ve tried Urban Decay’s eyeshadow too. But every thing else is MAC! I have never tried liquid foundation. I’m kind of scared to try it so, this Gen Xer is going to stick to what I know 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️😂😂😂 You look beautiful 🖤🖤🖤
Also I hear you in my 30s and under eyes are definitely changing. I don't wear makeup that much but when I do have 3 foundations in rotation (BARS?!); haus labs, bite beauty changemaker micellar (RIP), and thread beauty complexion stick. Sometimes I just use concealer and fenty beauty pressed powder. My concealers I use currently are the armani power fabric concealer and I just discovered the sephora collection gel serum concealer (they slashed off the prices like crazy; i think they're discontinuing). Honestly I think maybe some want to hesitate to give their recommendations because just because it works for them doesn't mean they will work for you. I also think application needs to be accounted for. Can't just rely on the product to do all the work. I hear it's best to not put the product on the crease because it'll just... crease. I try to stick to that.
Happy New Year SheRea! Getting caught up on videos since I was out of the country for 10 days. I did pick up the Nars undereye concealer on your recommendation and it creased on me. However, I am older and I wasn't sure if I used it correctly so I was going to revisit it. As of this date, I have not picked it up again and now here you are saying that you had issues too. I guess my initial thoughts were correct, but I am still going to revisit and if it doesn't work this time, I'll pass it on. Enjoyed this video.
So glad you took a trip Rae! Dang, sorry for misleading you. I wish you returned it 😩😩. Hopefully you have better luck with it next time. Please let me know.
@@SheReaDelSol you didn't mislead me. You shared your thoughts and I tried it, that's what we do. Some things work and others don't and that's ok. No hard feelings so don't be sorry.
Okay, you called me out for ghost watching so I GOTTA respond 😂 I’m trynna do better. But anywho: my favorite concealers are the Pat McGrath, FENTY (the OG one, not the new hydrating one they’re releasing), and the Kosas concealer.
If the pat mcgrath setting powder you're referring to is the small one for the under eye than yeah 34 dollas is a lot for that. 😄 But it's Pat Mcgrath so it's to be expected.
Girl. We here just not make up mavens. Literally every one of the concealers I have are discontinued or I can't recommend because I only wear it for a hot second anyway and I'mma use my things. Lol
