So, there are a couple dub mistakes that were made. The reason why Sensui spared Itsuki wasn't because he found him funny, its that Sensui also watched the same TV drama and was looking forward to the finale as well. The second is that when Sensui says "Immortality will be your strength" he was supposed to say "IMMORALITY will be your strength," as in, giving up your hypocritical morality and accepting your wickedness will be your strength, as that was what he did.

The delivery on "and yet you're still going to die" is amazing. Love this dub so much

I keep going back and forth over whether or not they'll like the twist but I finally have my prediction... they'll like the plot aspect but not the strength dynamics...

Yusuke screaming, "So Let's just skip to the FIGHT!" I SWEAR that was a line Toonami used for their ads -- it triggered some serious after-school memories! Itsuki: **talks about Sensui romantically** Me: **peeks around corner** Are y'all BL baiting me? Not fai-- Itsuki: I wanted Sensui to be my lover. Me: --oh. Good deal. Good work, YYH. **dusts off hands**

sensui is such a good character, the build up for him as a villain is so well done in my opinion. He's mysterious, intimidating, calculating and so charasmatic. cant wait for the next episode!

It's funny how they are trying to pick apart Sensui when we know he has many 'layers'. 7 of them infact 😂

If you remember, Date Eiji from Hajime no Ippo did the similar neck twist to mitigate the punch impact. Just a neat thing I noticed.

I love how the confrontation with Itsuki basically boils down to: *Team Urameshi:* Itsuki! Can't you see that what Sensui is doing is wrong? *Itsuki:* ye *Team Urameshi:* Then help us stop him! *Itsuki:* lol no. *Team Urameshi:* WHY THE HELL NOT?! *Itsuki:* it would ruin my headcanon.

Ahhhh, don't worry, Hiei has stuff to do the next arc. But regardless, he still has some moments and growth in the finale of the Sensui arc.

Looking back on this episode, Sensui actually gave him some good advice considering what happens later on

This episode is great, this whole fight between Yusuke and Sensui is always really cool to rewatch. 13:04 yea that definitely was a Gon move, I’m glad I watched YYH after HxH so I could see the inspiration for a lot of things that came in HxH

I can't wait for the next couple of episodes. As they will show some of the most unique anime twist during a fight.

Randomly throwing this out there, but I'd highly recommend Overlord as a reaction series.

Potential spoiler alert: I hope they realize soon that the territory thing was specific to the folks that got their power from the gate opening. Sensui and Itsuki already had powers..I don't think this is a spoiler tbh

It’s crazy to think Yusuke is a very low A class in this fight, meaning Sensui was only using B class power

In the original Japanese, the love itsuki has for sensui is actually requited, but not in the dub for some reason

Itsuki is the classic effeminate character that I don't like in anime and manga and it's somewhat annoying with this attitude, and who would be very well ideologized by a certain (cancerogenic) political line today. If he had been like everyone else I would have had nothing to complain about. Then what do you claim that he is in love with Sensui? it can simply be a friendship that implies an affection, gained over time and having a common goal and I am sure it is so. I really like Sensui as antagonist and his amazing personality along with Toguro's is one of the best ever in the series. As far as I am concerned, his relationship with Itsuki remains neutral and I will never see them in another light since I am not interested in any way. I prefer it to remain simple and without unnecessary complications.
