He fought with servants already...so these small magus fight means nothing to him. Servants are way stronger than magus. That’s why most of the time master fought master while servants fought servant.
@@QWERTY-gp8fd Kuzuki was boosted by Medea Ancient magecraft that is stronger than modern magecraft, Archer easily killed Kuzuki without Medea's help. Though Kirei can only fight the lowest ranking servant.
You know what I really loved about this, is that Rin did not hammer Shirou with punches, asking him what he is doing and calling him a pervert when Luvia got close to him. I really got so tired of that crap in other shows.
@@warellis to be fair, Shirou is her boyfriend, and, technically speaking, they have been dating since episode 12 (as Rin did take Shirou out on a date).
Emiya to Lancer: "Just because we're on the same side, don't try to get chummy with Tohsaka." Tohsaka to Luvia: "Don't get so chummy with him!" These two truly have been an iten for ages
Rin held her own whilst grabbed by bloody Heracles. This suplex is nothing against her epic self-Reinforcement and Bajiquan skills she was taught by the former top Church Executor.
And be annoyed that Luvia seemed more amused than threatened by the fight. Seriously, she was literally laughing at Rin's attacks. As if Rin were little more than a kitten.
"I nailed her right in the medulla oblongata, so why wouldn't she go down?!" Note: If you nail someone anywhere in their brain stem and they don't go down, your best option is to run like Hell and hope you're the faster one.
@@zoelewis7498 So, your comment made me finally look into her backstory and, I'm gonna say that you're right because apparently, there's an arc where she beats Heracles with her *BARE HANDS*
A good respect for source material, too, then. I don't expect an anime adaptation to be an exact duplicate, but little touches like these really show the respect that the studios have for the original works.
Cannibal Candy unfortunately before I even found Fate, that ideal kinda was already in me. This show definitely showed one side of the argument, but I think I'd still agree with Shirou. Could care less about what happens to me, but if I can help other people and make them smile, that's good enough for me ☺
Yup cannibal is right save everyone is impossible because when people make the wrong choices in life they bought it upon themselves not the good people fault
thedragneelswordsman Chances are, if you want the best for others then others will also feel the same about you. Therefore discarding your own safety will make those who care about you sad and worry sick. Besides you deserve just as much as the next person.
Jinsei Cast very true, very true. Honestly this is why I love Fate (and anime in general), almost always there is some complex ideal or theme built into the show that really makes it interesting and it's why I love watching it. It's kinda like taking an ideological argument and then creating an entire story/scenario that puts the two sides against each other to clash (in other words, a visual representation of the argument)
Director: Okay, the shows going to end soon, what shall we do? Animation team: ....I have an idea... *This episode* Animation team: Unlimited Budget Work!
they messed the date episode super bad, they handled both the Archer and Gil fights in a subpar way But this, giving us what we have been claiming for years all is forgiven
Good on the fate series for making the first tsundere character that I found actually endearing instead of annoying Edit: I love how people are still replying to this comment from over a year ago🤣🤣🤣. Good to know my opinion isnt unpopular.
Maybe that's because Rin is one of the early examples, as Fate/Stay Night was released in 2004, before the big tsundere craze really started and they became flat stereotypes.
That compound belongs to one of the Clock Tower's departments, and, IIRC, it was said that such fights of Rin with Luvia were the worst thing that happened to them.
UBW is definitely the best possible Route for Shirou in that he learns to live with himself and move on from his survivor's guilt while having a love interest that both supports and grounds him in even measure. Rin teaches Shirou how to be happy, all the while she's learning the same at his side. My only complaints about UBW are that Rider, the most tragic and legendary of all Greek monsters, gets trashed by a damn history teacher and that Shinji somehow survives. Personally, I just deny, deny, deny and pretend that Rin crushed his throat under her boot and set him on fire after she pulled his worthless corpse from the Grail before she took her new boyfriend home for breakfast, cuddles and a much-needed shower (read note below). Note: While all but worthless, it was Shinji's piss-poor magic circuits and Illya's heart that Gilgamesh had shoved into him that were manifesting the Grail, extracting him was the only way to cut power to it. So, as much as I hate it, Rin going dumpster diving for a seaweed-headed worm in a malevolent wish-granting device's fat rolls was actually a legit necessity and a valid strategic maneuver (no, I can't believe I said it either). After that though, there was no reason to keep him alive after he tried to assault Rin in the church, not to even mention that he'd been doing the same to Sakura for years already. Seriously, Lancer should've just saved everyone the trouble and skewered the cretin while he had the chance.
@@nouvaldantesosa2499 Idk. Tbh even of the glimpses I've seen in the LN I always think of the Shirou/Sakura relationship as more of a brother-sister one then lovers. Either that or it's just my mind struggling to grasp the concept of being with someone you've known since middle school. Like how you gonna know someone since childhood and then be in a relationship with them. I just can't fathom it because if that was me I would still see them as a child even if were senior citizen age already lmao. Kinda like how the youngest child of the family will always be the baby in their eyes.
Something funny to note. Those two (Rin and Luvia) are actually second cousins. Their grandmothers are sisters and representatives in the third grail war. At the end of the third grail war, the elder Edelfelt sister stayed in Japan and married Tokiomi's father and the younger sister went back to Finland and inherited the Edefelt family.
Qi Chen that’s true. I think anyway. I’ve heard that it’s implied somewhere that the younger Edefelt sister married into the Tohsaka family but I’m not sure if it’s true
Qi Chen I thought it was the other way round. The Elder Edelfelt sister went back, swearing to never come back to Japan, and the younger sister dropped off the record, probably staying in Japan and marrying Tokiomi's dad.
If you guys want to know how Shirou met Luvia, he saved her from assassins with kanshou in one hand and a bag of groceries in the other. This is from the script of the episode, and I love it.
We was kind of able to go toe to toe with servants by the end of unlimited blade works in terms of speed and strength so he likely would kick ass in self-defense class. Especially because, most likely, Archer had knowledge of hand to hand combat and thus transferred that to Shirou during their fight.
Him becoming a hero is unavoidable (except for 1 route which is not this). However, he will not become the same exact Archer but rather a variation with different idealism. True, the Archer that we all know is NOT him. Shirou will become an Archer but with different views in life which is technical a different entity than the Archer we all know.
She is in all of those? Even the spin off ones? Fate grand order included? I sorry but I am Fate noob who just watched Zero and UBW. I feel empty cuz there is no more Shirou/Rin material😫 Anyone suggestions
@@arwinaziz911 Only thing left would be to play the visual novel proper to get the full experience. There are the other Fate series, yes, but for maximum Rin, it's the UBW route.
unfortunatly we won't :( This wasn't even in VN. But i would like if they continue this route. Having Shirou, Rin and Luvia team up agaist some group that would try to bring back the holy grail. Shirou becoming more like Archer minus the regret and gaining his outfit. It would be cool :D. So far we got only fanfiction.
Fate hollow/ataraxia is all about the hilarious bullshit that surrounds Shirou's life the everyone (except Kotomine) somehow survived the Grail war. If you liked this, you'll love hollow ataraxia.
The afterstory of UBW already has a better plot than 99% of school-life animes. Would totally love for a cute and easy-going continuation of this route, wouldn't mind if they threw in a few badass Waver moments too instead of that single cameo.
kevin yang seriously. I’d love to see more to this. Especially since we’d get to maybe see a lot more of life at the clock tower, appearances by other characters and of course more Shirou/Rin moments
Medulla oblongata : the continuation of the spinal cord within the skull, forming the lowest part of the brainstem and containing control centers for the heart and lungs. Owo.....I think rin was trying to kill her.
basically, he will improve and then he and rin maybe will bcome a couple (married) and then shirou will join the army/navy/special soldier and become heroic spirit and then he summoned to the 5th holy grail war with hazy memories because the young rin summon him unperfectly. and then he want to kill the old him bcause he regret his decision to become hero. and he lose to the young shirou. and that young shirou will repeat this thing again.
juan manuel Brac lol no. if he die in this route, then.. how he can met up with his future ? basically all of the routes show us that shirou will become heroic spirit. f*ck whatever the developer said. use your logic. if EMIYA heroic spirit exist, then.. shirou still alive and will become EMIYA heroic spirit in the future. and soon will try to kill his young self. and fail again. endless cycle. the writer of this story messed up with the time thing and also the gender thing. lol arthuria is lesbian in this anime.. cause "she" have a wife XD or gay? cause he loves shirou in the fate route XD
they fought like they tried to kill eachother, but they really just tried to get killed by eachother so the real winner would get to lie down on Shirou's lap trully a reward fiting a Holy Grail War
Fight was on point, animation just highlights the movement so well That punch momentum to lift her End moment was cute too, no angry tsun punch, just consoling sweetly
This was the last episode and ufotable didn't even try to lower the quality of the show. Not even the animation, the lighting and the atmosphere are really top notch. It really captures the victorian era vibes of the place.
First off Rin’s facial expressions are hilarious in this and second I’d love to see a continuation from this point for those, but preferably one that comes in the timeline that Saber is still with them
Aslatiel Bael it has the capability to work but it's like driving over mud and through rain compared to driving over a dry road with nothing in the way one is Gonna be obvious and make more sense than the other but the other isn't implausible
Sparky510Games Er, you're just using analogies without presenting any basis. That's not a full explanation since you're only presenting one side of the comparison.
Aslatiel Bael ok so Shirou with Saber is the Muddy road with rain and Shirou with Rin is the Clean road with no obstructions you could take either roads but the clean road with nothing in the way makes the most sense
I love how Shirou is just watching this like: "yep, same sh** as always" Also Shirou and Rin are just so cute together. My head canon is that they ended up together latter down the road in the fate route as well, considering how that one ended.
Considering that Last Episode exists, that would be a damn sad relationship on Rin's end because she would never be able to measure up to Saber. Shirou will keep searching for Saber forever, and he'll actually succeed at it and be with her.
