Level 5 difficulty, same as the arcade.
Played on RetroArch Beetle core
First clear of this amazing game by Raizing/8ing mostly known for Battle Garegga, Armed Police Batrider, Mahou series, etc.
Some scoring and survival mistakes, this game took a while to clear, Stage 3 boss, Stage 5, and 6 were the biggest obstacles.
Much like RayForce you get a higher multiplier the more enemies you lock on, but instead of a small reticule, you get a web radar thing that locks on enemies from every layer, however, killing enemies with your web shot while only locking 1 or 2 you get 1/2 of the enemy value and 1/4 with your bombs, it's not really a big deal on smaller enemy values but on bosses and larger enemies values is a lot of scoring lost. Your main shot is rather weak compared to your web shot and is only useful for killing some popcorn enemies or killing the last boss with it.
Picking powerups and destroying every enemy in a stage (0% enemy remaining) makes the rank higher, so don't do that. Most of my powerup pickups were accidental.
The bomb acts differently depending on if you are using your web shot or not.
Max bomb capacity is 7 but there's a hidden counter that if you collect a bomb 4th and onwards after the max capacity you get a whopping 655,371 points, the counter resets if you miss a bomb item or dying which encourages to NMNB most of the game. I didn't go for this in this run.

Amazing run ! I'm always so happy to see new 1CCs for this great game. It's so good to see that it has good emulation now :) It's great that you were able to stay focus despite your infortunate death at stage 3 boss. For a first 1CC of this hard-ass game your score is very high (mine was like 15M), also some things you do for score are more optimized than what I do, so definetely gonna steal some stuff haha. Great use of the "swap-lock" technique too ! If I may here's two things I'd like to add : - It's the full destruction of stages's ennemies (0% ennemies remaining) that makes the rank go up, full destruction of the bosses don't add to rank. - It's still possible to exploit the bomb bug even if you drop a bomb, you just need to pick up another bomb and then the bomb after that will still give you 655,371 points. As you can see KTL-NAL drops a bomb at 15:20 to skip the crazy middle stage part with the two big ennemies and then he continues to exploit the bug by collecting bombs : www.bilibili.com/video/BV1ot411j7bA?p=2. This is the WR with S.O.Q 004 by the way. This bug was a developper oversight, and it's what I dislike the most about this game. It ruins the scoring system a bit since for top scores instead of having to chain extra power-ups for crazy rank we ended up with a DDP wannabee in which you have to keep rank low and pray for good RNG. Definetely a part of the game though, and it's something to exploit in order to reach japanese scores.

Very thanks, I did watch KTL-NAL's run too. Yeah, the RNG was the reason why I didn't go for the bomb bonus.
