So my observation on armour breaks is that there are two levels of break for the torso (mid/high), and one for the legs (low). This means that Groh's low break status still left him with pants, whereas Mitsurugi's left him with just loincloth and fundoshi, lol. (Also, that Groh's critical edge did a low break on Mitsu).

When your weapon is strong enough to blow his clothes off in one hit.

Anyone else think that the way armor breaks in Soup Calibur is odd? It's still very...explodey considering it's still a game with mostly slashing damage happening.

Love the gameplay, graphics, and overall design. I'm certain Maximilian Dood's right; this IS most similar to _SCII_ and I love it. The one thing I disagree with most is how _overt_ the damned armor breaking is and how it needs to be toned down. With Mitsurugi basically completely naked durin' an armed fight involvin' swords and other weapons of death, Bandai Namco's team workin' on this is either thirsty as Hell as usual or trollin' us for the time bein'.
