Finally, after what seemed like 84 years, the story of Soul Calibur is going to focus on the drama between Kilik and Maxi again. These two have always had the best storylines IMO.
Fun times. :) Can't wait 'til Maxi is in my hands.... Wait, that sounded wrong 😂 - Also for real when Kilik says "Forgive me, Maxi" it makes wanna write some shit. Great touch!
I played SCII & III for many years and I can promise y'all ain't seen nothing yet. Wait until, some true masters of their characters go at it. Shit looks like straight anime battles at the real high level play...
I'm so glad I caved and pre-ordered this! IT LOOKS SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDD Also Maxi's Critical Edge quotes are making me picture him as a surfer dude lmaooooo
Why do the characters look so young now? Haven't played a soul Calibur in years, but I do recall in the last one they were all much older and their pupils and children were in the game.
Asura broken dance, I've used Kilik and that is a really good move, starts with GI, if it hits you it gives a lot of damage and if the opponent guard the move is not able to punish you, and if it is able to do it, it needs to be a fast move that wont make a lot of damage.
Ivy for example is good mid and long range but when you get close to her she sucks, Talim is really fast but doesnt have range, Kilik have range, combos, damage, fast and is good from mid range and face to face, he doesnt have weaknesses, you can just read your opponent or wait for him to make a move or mistake and punish, but he can also do that.
Only thing change is the graphics on a better console, outfits a couple new ppl I wanna say I never heard of the time bar and arenas. They got the same moves tho. I haven't soul caliber since PlayStation 2. It was one of my fav games next to wwe and grand theft auto sanandreas
The only problem with the game that is kind of a nitpicking since no knew cares is the intros and unique dialogue. The only one that was the most interesting was Siegfried against Nightmare, that was it. I don't hear any of the character speak their names. Unlike Soul Caliber 5, there's much dialogue to be hear mentioning their name. Maxi and Kilik don't even say each others' name. It bothers me. And when it came to Soul Caliber 5's unique dialogue, they hardly say any names towards each other. It'll Hm give an good gesture towards one another. It just makes me feel like they don't really know each other but just started or they're in the middle of something. Siegfried and Nightmare have the most impact in their encounter cause "My Father's Killer" is Siegfried's past sin, and he accepts the fact that he and Nightmare are both killers alike, they make no difference.
