Soulmask Is this Survival Game right for you? 

My brother and I have basically, a static duo, playing most of the day Sundays, Friday evenings and sometimes other evenings. This game absolutely shocked us at how quickly it grabbed us. We like to be challenged and for things to go slow. We like to think through problems and make plans. So after 15 hours we are all in. We are already planning how to make a base that is organized around the tribesmen's crafting specialties. Also how to engage in duo combat effectively. Our favorite is when he starts a massively hammer swing, I grab and pull a guy to us with the spear and just as the baddie lands in front of me his hammer lands. Yeah, this game is very dense, so much to do, it is fantastic.

Honestly, this game looks neat. Tribal aesthetics are my favorite, so atmosphere is definitely my cup of tea. I'd like to be cautiously optimistic, but from the looks of it, this game might be just the thing to fill my personal void that Conan left after turning from game to cynical chore. 4:08 is little off-putting for me, as I play most of the games with custom characters (from RP perspective) as "their stories" and treat my character as "my chosen", but that doesn't mean I can't do it as well here - hell, I played this way Kenshi as well, and your character there is definition of "nobody". Please tell me that there is a respawn mechanic and not permadeath/permaloss of characters in Soulmask as well.

First thing I have to tell you Wak, my wife is displeased with you. I downloaded the demo on your advice and put 20 hours in on the first two days. I don't know if there's a difference of abilities between the clans beyond that certain ones have special bonuses, but I've found some outcasts with amazing abilities at levels 1, 2 or 3. As for the ones that have bad fighting debuffs, you just became a crafter. Leveling them up isn't hard either. There is ALWAYS something that needs done which is a good thing. I look forward to being able to play without the restrictions of the demo, and seeing how far I can get before I break down and search for how I'm supposed to be doing stuff.

Started playing when open beta started. 100 hours played and I can't get enough. I've played Conan and Myth of Empires but this game is better than those 2 imo

The Demo was fun and the game looks great, but I have a feeling Soulmask will require way more of my free time than I can spare. I'm a casual Solo player, I cant have a game become a job.

Yo wak! I tried to play the game but quit barely 30 mins in. Because the menus are massive and too confusing. If you could do a guide explaining the menu options crafting/skills/etc it would be great.

Nah, I'm the character I started out with. It helps that I "adjusted" the difficulty in a way that would make me the main character!😂

There are some rough edges that need to be cleaned up (Climbing in particular & some aspects of automation (the repair bench & tool replacement good god getting that automated would be grand.) but so far it's been a darn good starting point.

are there adjustable game settings, so you can taylor the difficulty ? Are there procedurally generated maps, or is it the same map, or two or three, year after year ?

How big is the map compared to conan exiles?

Npc get into relaxed state in the middle of combat, which looks most ridiculous.

I got about 30 hours in this current demo. The game has vibes of Conan Exiles and Myth of Empires. Definitely looking forward to Early Access.

I did enjoyed thios game but I was completely lost. Mask was drained off energy, slaves everywhere. I have build the base but really fkin far, didnt find any teleports. Really messy. This game could be really good but it really needs a lot of polishing up and June release... Yeah I will definitely play this but like a year or two after release.

looking at the combat I am giving this game a hard no. i hate that style of combat it reminds me of console games and i hate console games.

i just hate them for not taking my money NOW. this is the game i was desperitly waiting for😁
