I'm 4 chapters in on the hardest difficulty and it started of easy but slowly ramps up the challenge, my only complaints are the camera angles and how much it zooms in during fights If you liked the old school action games of the early to mid 2000's such as DMC, Bayonetta and GOW then you will enjoy Soulstice. For only 35 pounds it's well worth a buy for a AA indie title so trust me and support games like this

Nice review. I like the world and character design and gameplay so I'll give it a shot, and it's always great to see option to increase text size as I find too many games nowadays (even AAA) where I struggle to read the tiny font on a 4K TV.

I've been playing this since launch on GFN. Gameplay feels like DMC with the setting feeling like Berserk-lite. So far I like it and it seems like an above average hack n' slasher.

Excited to try this one out tonight! I rather liked the demo and at a $40 price point it seems like you’re getting a good deal, especially if you like replaying harder difficulties and seeking out hidden fights.

@@usuario_cualquiera2522 This should be industry standard, frankly. I remember squinting at the tiny font in Man of Medan, not being able to invert camera controls in Tomb Raider Underworld on PS2 etc. This stuff makes games borderline unplayable.

I'm loving the game so far! Got the deluxe edition on sale through Stream for about $34 USD. Definitely a must play for fans of DMC, Bayonetta, and older God Of War games.

The main selling point for me especially since the actual Claymore game Claymore: Gingo No Maho for the Nintendo DS never got released here in the US.

🚨 Can someone clear this up for me! At 4:26 you say the game length is 5-10 hrs... ? HLTB says 17 hours for the Main Story alone... lol wth is going on??? I was bout to buy this but I'm def not if it's only 5-10 hrs long.. Also, how does a game have a 5 hr difference to complete... ? I'm so confused, usually ppl would say it takes 5-6 hrs or 9-10 hrs... Not 5-10, that's a massive difference. Unless one measurement is for only Main Story and the other is for MS+side stuff. But like I mentioned above, HLTB claims the game is 17 hrs in length for MS, and 19.5 hrs for MS+side stuff, and 33.5 hrs for completionist. Make it make sense, and pls be CLEARER next time. Smh

It's almost a Berserk ripoff in every regard. I'm not complaining, but this is too much. Almost the same armor as Guts', then the bandage on one arm, her missing eye. And of course the sword. I would love a new Berserk game, but maybe the developers also wanted that and made an unofficial one themselves.
