It’s good to see that after the overwhelming success of Nier and DMC 5 that developers are starting to go back to character action (hack and slash type) games. They are legit video game comfort food and this one really does look like a sleeper big hit of the year

I kept thinking Lute was Loot and got so confused listening to this the first time w/o fully paying attention.

Not a soulslike and I heard Claymore....now this is a must buy for me.

Looks a lot like Guts and Shierke from Berserk

Pretty goddamn hyped for this one, had it preordered for months now! Can’t believe how it just came out of nowhere from Italy!

The fact that it reminds me of Claymore one of my most favorite anime/manga is enough for me to want it.

This completely flew under my radar, I'm a huge Nier and DMC fan so I kinda really want this

I preordered this and am playing it now. This is my first hack and slash game aside from some kingdom hearts battles. So far I’m not sure how I feel about it. When the game started it felt like it was not the beginning but somewhere in the middle. It’s still early but I was hoping for something to show how Lute and Briar became who they are now, how they got into fighting and why they are the only ones who can save the world, outside of Briar’s sister Lute helping her.

This feels a lot more DMC inspired than Nier. Either way, looking forward to this dropping on the 20th.

I've been playing DMC5 SE lately so this mite be fun.

DMC/Lords of Shadow gameplay with Claymore/Berserk setting, and the heroine is Aphelios, got it. I'll try the demo, why not.

I’m pretty excited to start this I just got it along with Steel Rising it’s a coin toss which one I start first. I don’t like to juggle too many games so sadly one of them may have to wait awhile I’m also trying to work in Thymesia.

I'm interested 🤔 in playing this one, hope it at least 20-30 hours of gameplay for it, has replayability for it. Having two Sisters fight side by side is gonna be fun and see how their bond makes em stronger to fight their enemies.

So it’s a classic God of War, DMC, and Nier hybrid? I’m into it.

This game mixed things from chaos legion, devil may cry and ff7 remake and none of them worked. Everything looks like a collage of a much better game

I absolutely love the protagonist. Female protagonist are always cooler... and white hair + eyepatch is by far the biggest "Best women" material on earth. However.... the rest of the game looks very boring and meh... the graphics are eh.... the gameplay looks eh..... the setting looks eh..... rly rly rly sad..... if i would buy this... it would be only and alone for the 10/10 Protagonist. ... but i doubt this will carry the whole game. Sad.

I have serious doubts you actually played this game. There is no exploration and no side-scrolling sections as you claim. The controls are also anything but smooth - everything feels ridiculously stiff and you don't even have full control in battle, since Briar automatically dodges away from enemy attacks. One of the things I really appreciated with this game is the excellent color blind options. I have deuteranopia and have not found another game with as comprehensive and effective options as this one. As for "things you should know", I'd say the main thing people should know before buying this game is that it's very much a "defeat everything and move forward" type and the camera is going to be your worst enemy in the game. The fact you don't mention either of these two major issues is quite telling of your bias.

no "fun explorations" in this game because there's almost no exploration (if not at all). this is a linear game. the hidden secrets only take a very little detour. some people may like it, but it's not my kind of game.

Useless video. Listing off things in the game like table of contents. People want a breakdown and explanation of a subjective experience “Accessibility such as font sizes” is not exactly something you need to know before buying

In every way this game can suck, this game does suck. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
