They don't break so long as you set them up correctly. I've had my A series 20" Crash for over 2 years now, and so far all that has really happened is they've gotten dirty. You also have to take into account that he uses K's on tour, and only uses A's in the studio. Given the fact that K custom cymbals are made of 20% tin content, you could assume they would also be more durable. Why am I making a deal out of a guy making a sarcastic remark about things us drummers will all inevitably experience?
Well. Matt is for sure not a heavy hitter. I use the same cymbals for more than 3 years, without exeption, for everything, but i play in small places, i dont use 2B sticks either.
+seanjonesdrums 14" A Mastersound HiHat`s, 19" Rezo Crash, 14" k mini china (I believe), 19" K china, 21" K Crash/Ride and a 19" A custom projection crash (I believe).
‘Zildjian were cool with me from day one’, of course they are, you’re in a big band. Catch any of us hitting them up and they’ll straight tell us to f*** off 😂
