Wrong! Bats are NOT rodents! 🙄People always get misconceptions that bats are flying mice! Bats are actually more closely related to dogs and cats rather than mice and rats.

You really can’t tell with ears and face alone. There’s a ton of species with forward tilting ears and a sort of smooshed face. You’d need forearm length, seeing whether their tail is free, ear length, range, and a whole host of other factors to tell if they’re Mexican/Brazilian free-tailed bats or some other species.
I can't even watch this. I saw a bat in my room a few weeks ago and I'm traumatized. I don't believe they're living in my house because I've never heard anything in 15 years. I've only seen one a year in the last 3.
