My Yamaha StagePas 600I has been pretty quiet for the past 6 years. But after I came across this amazingly good and inspiring explanation, it just has to be used again. So this was incredibly helpful. Thank you very much, good teacher. May God bless you and yours abundantly!🥰
I have been looking at this stagepas for a while , as im getting older and my gear is getting heavier 🤣 never seem to get a live band playing and demonstrating any gear these days so bit concerned that this would be up for the job but to be fair you are a great explainer and i have learned a lot ,we are a three piece harmony band playing too up to a 50 something more , we have alway sang through 15inch speakers which alway give us a warm blend of harmony. Just wondering what your opinion would be on us buying this set up, i guess it wont be as good to what we have now but i guess its sacrificing i little sound quality or sacrificing my back🤣
Yes, you will lose some low end by switching, however you could add a smaller subwoofer to compensate if you want using the monitor output. I would check out some of the sub /column speaker systems as well. (Like Turbosound Inspire IP500 or similar) The heavy stuff stays on the ground that way. 😆
Most detailed demo. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this demo. By the way the mixer has 6 channels not 8 because channel 5/6 and 7/8 has common controls.
Agreed. It annoys me that mixer companies have inflated their channel counts by counting stereo channels as two channels but unfortunately that is the case. Thanks for watchin'!
Thank you so mucho for your precise description of the controls. Your voice does help to easily go through the entire video. I own a 400i and I learned more here with you that with the manual itself. Somewhere you mentioned about a subwoofer, which one do you recommend me to have the complete equipment?
Hi Juan, Glad it was helpful. Yamaha makes a nice line of active sub-woofers what should work well with this system. If you setup and tear down a lot I would suggest the DXS12mkII since it only weighs 66 lbs and has integrated wheels.
As per your suggestion I have just got myself a DXS12 subwoofer and a DBX 12 speaker and they sound terrific altogether with the StagePas. I have another question about the red connector cables for left and right . Can I replace them with regular instrument cable? In case I need a longer connection, can I use one for guitar with the same plugs?
Excellent Juan, glad to hear it! While you can use a guitar or instrument cable, I would recommend a speaker cable instead. Check out this part of my Cables and Connectors video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hd__UWdowtg.html
Hi.. Is it possible to connect in-ear monitoring system ? since the 2 monitor out ports support only with powered monitors I am not sure if i can hook up in-ear monitor system. appreciate if you could please help me with this query.
Thank you for you explanation. I'm just thinking of buying this yamaha system, but I have a question. How to use reverb on wifi microphone because I didn't see any reverb in that channel? Is it possible or not? Thank you.
Hi brother, thanks for this amazing video. I needed a this video where I could see how it works. I have a question for you, the configuration was clear to me, I would like to know if it could be possible to connect a laptop and use this microphone and speaker in a streaming or video call for a presentation.
Thank you for the detailed info. Is there a way to use the line monitor out and feed that into laptop mic input please? What kind of cable would be needed for that please, something that's available on Amazon UK may be? Thanks!
Sure! You need a 1/4" mono to 3.5mm stereo cable. Plug it into your laptop as a "Line In" source. www.amazon.com/Tisino-3-5mm-Stereo-Interconnect-Cable/dp/B07K59LS1N
Thanks, Brother Navi was pastor in Ba, Fiji. Proclaim AV donated the Yamaha system from the video to his ministry. He has since passed on to Heaven. Glad the video was helpful.
Thank you. I’m using one like this for church on Cabo San Lucas mexico. Would like to know how to set up for video broadcast or recording on laptop. Thank you.
Hi Ramon, Using the monitor out jacks is a good way to go. If your laptop has stereo line in then you can use the Hosa-CMP-153 to convert the two 1/4" outputs to 1/8" stereo. If you need to convert it to USB, then you can use something the Behringer Line 2 USB. Hope that helps!
Hi Brightson, Yes you can connect to an audio interface like the Steinberg. Just use a 1/4" cable from the "Monitor out L" to the interface or for stereo you can use two cables from Monitor Out L and R if your Steinberg has two inputs. Use the "Monitor Out" volume control to adjust your levels. Happy Recording!
hi thanks for the info...but i have just one question, can i connect this to the tv? ive tried it but i cant, i dunno what to do because i want the audio from my tv to go out unto the speakers. how can i connect? thank u in advance boss
Hi Arden, Yes you can connect this to your TV but only if your TV has an analog output, like a headphone jack or the red and white RCA connections. Hope that helps!
This is by far the best explanation I’ve found for the Yamaha PA systems, and it really gives me great confidence to buy one of these for my community center. Thanks! Note to other buyers: this is the Yamaha Stagepas 400. The Stagepas 400BT is newer and features Bluetooth INSTEAD OF the USB port.
hi thanks for the info...but i have just one question, can i connect this to the tv? ive tried it but i cant, i dunno what to do because i want the audio from my tv to go out unto the speakers. how can i connect? thank u in advance boss
Hi. Great video. I just bought the 400bt for our church. I have been testing it with audio in from different sources and find that the limiter lights do not light up at all regardless of the input volume or speaker volume. Is that normal?
Channel 5/6 or Channel 7/8 should work fine for a keyboard when using a stereo cable. If you are using a mic for your keyboard then Channels 1-4 will be the ticket!
Hi, we're using this for our church, but is there a way for me to connect the 400BT mixer to my laptop so what's heard in the main hall also gets heard on the livestream? Thank you.
Las versiones anteriores no disponen de Bluetooth. Sin embargo, puedes utilizar un canal de entrada estéreo y un receptor Bluetooth externo para añadir Bluetooth. Gracias.
Sss... bor this is amazing video... but i have more explanations in the sound system. how to set the sound system for band songs that means keyboard and guitar
In our church we just bought it, but we don’t know how to connect Bluetooth of Stagepas to mobile phone to play worship songs Could u tell me how to connect it dear brother?
Hi, Vuthy, Here is a link to the manual asia-latinamerica-mea.yamaha.com/files/download/other_assets/1/1142301/stagepas_600bt_en_om_c0.pdf Page 15 shows you how to pair. Thanks for Watching!
Unfortunately, no. FX are very limited on this one. I just did a review of the Mackie ProFX16v3 which will let you add the onboard FX into all three monitor mixes.
A splendid demonstration brother. It’s strange, our mediation centre has the exact same unit and my name is Navi. I was looking for such a video and when you said brother Navi, I had to go back and listen again to make sure I wasn’t hearing stuff. What a coincidence eh! Thanks brother 🙏🏻
Hi , one question please , if i connect my Digital Piano on it , is my digital piano will he have the reverb of this device ? Because i can't see the Reverb button on 5/6 , 7/8 or 9/10 ? Thanks
Can you hookup external effects to this? Can't find any information anywhere? I have a Lexicon MX200 and I don't know how to connect it to my Yamaha400
If your PC has a line in you can use a 1/8" stereo to 1/4" dual mono cable. Google "Hosa CMP-153" If not, try the Behringer Line2USB. In either case simply plug the 1/4 plugs into the "Monitor Out L and R" and the USB or 1/8" stereo in to the laptop.
This would depend largely on the impedance load of your guitar pickup. Since your pickup is battery powered instead of entirely passive (like an electric guitar) it's possible you don't need to have the HiZ (High Impedance) button down. :)
Yes, if your TV has audio outputs. For example if you have a headphone jack on your TV, you can use an aux cable and connect it to channel 9/10. Thanks for watching!
Hi Serra, If you need all the inputs this unit has to offer, its still a solid choice. Check out the new StagePas 400BT. They've added Bluetooth instead of the iPhone USB connector so it works with any device. Thanks for watching!
I want to set up a home karaoke. I want to connect my ipad to my TV directly. Can I connect my Behringer system to the TV so that my karaoke sound from the TV comes out from the Behringer speakers? How do I do that?
That would depend on your Behringer system and if your television has a line level output. A lot of newer televisions only have a digital output (normally optical) so you would need a converter box to change it to RCA line level output. If your Behringer system only has 1/4" line level inputs you could use an RCA to 1/4" stereo cable to patch in to the Behringer system. Hope that helps!
Hi Subimal. Unfortunately I am unfamiliar with the Phillips Intellispace interface. If you need an analog "line in" to a PC for recording you can use a double 6.35 mm to 3.5mm stereo cable from the 6.35 mm "Monitor L/R" ports on the mixer to the 3.5 mm stereo "Line In" on your computer. Google "Monoprice product 601040."
A lot of information thank you brother, for a starter like me it helps me out immensely how much is it the whole system the whole set up that you have there where can I get information on it?
Hi Mark, The Yamaha Stage Pas 400i is available around the web for around $499. The Audio Technica System 10 Lav is about $350. The Sennheiser e835 three pack is about $250. Add cables, speaker stands maybe $250 more? So you're looking at $1400 or so? I highly recomend the great folks at www.sweetwater.com for audio gear purchases. You'll talk to a real person in Indiana who knows about audio gear and the customer service is A++! Thanks for watchin'!
Hi Chris, You can add more speakers, but they will need to.be powered ones like the Yamaha DBR-12 (for example.) Connect them to the "Monitor Out" jacks to send them a signal. Thanks for watching!
@@proclaimav4197 thanks for replying so quickly !!! I just orderd two Yamaha powered DXR 15mkII....that should work yeah ? lol... excuse my ignorance lmao....again thank you for taking the time to respond and respond quickly :) - love your channel
Hi Diganta. You can add an additional un-powered mixer like the Yamaha MG series. Just plug additional inputs into the new mixer and then plug new mixer output into one of the inputs of the Yamaha Stage PAS. Thanks for watching!
This is very helpful! May God bless you. I own stagepas 600i and I would like to setup my home recording studio and you mentioned in the video above that you can explain how I can record from monitors. Can you help me understand how that can be done. I would really appreciate it.
Hi Yousuf. The "Monitor Out" just sends out a second copy of your main mix. You can use a stereo cable from the "Monitor Out" jacks or a mono cable from the "Monitor Out" left jack and connect to your recorder. The "Monitor Out" knob adjusts the level of the output to your recorder. Thanks for watching!
