Connection issues with the Soundcore Liberty 3 pro earbuds. Alot of good reviews out there on these earbuds but none seem to address this issue, so putting this out there for people who are thinking about purchasing these earbuds.
I had the same feedback from customer support unfortunatley. I don't use them everyday, and the cut outs don't necessarily happen 100% of the time I use them. But I'd say a good majority of the time I use them- int he gym, at the office, in the airport- cut outs occur seemingly randomly, yet frequently. I have an iPhone 12 too. So sad as otherwise, these have been the best sounding/noise cancelling ear buds I've had.
Thankfully I haven't had these issues...I use them everyday with my galaxy s10 and quest 2 headset and have had them since release. Well done letting people know what's happening though. Take care.
I have the same issues.. with my phone, with my laptop.. sometimes I don't think too much about it, but sometimes it gets super annoying. For some reason I can't seem to get the best in-ear fit either, tried different combinations of fit. But I'm still sticking to mine, because as far as I know these are still the best* truly wireless earbuds with dual connectivity.
For fit I would suggest looking at foam ear tips as they do help secure the buds in your ears. I use foam tips now for me new buds and they work great. Hopefully an update to the firmware will solve the issues, otherwise hope another set of great earbuds come out with dual connectivity
Same issue. I did a bit of digging. No issue with my Iphone 12 PM, no issue with my Ipad mini 5, however it keeps cutting every 5 minutes on my macbook pro 2018. Always when I am watching youtube, a bit less when watching Netflix/Disney. When the batteries are fully charged, no issue. Batteries less than 80% it starts happening. I also realized that when I watch a Netflix movie on my laptop and don't touch my phone, there is almost no cutting. However, as soon as I grab my Iphone to check something, the sound will cut as the phone tries to faceID me. This to a point where I can make the sound cut on my laptop every time I lock/unlock my phone. I tried to stick with Anker, I tried their Life P3, Life 2 Air Pro and the Liberty 3 pro...All have the same issue... Something wrong with my laptop, but I don't want to change it, so I will have to try another brand of earbuds.
I recently had a S22 Plus, I exanged the earbuds because of disconnecting 4 to 5 times in a song in every song, got new ones, same problem, I switched to my Note 10 plus because of size and Spen reasons, (my S22 is now a Nintendo Emulator machine) I got surprised that not a single disconnect on the old stuff, maybe new androids have incompatibility issues.
I had the same issue and it appears to be multipoint causing it. When only connected to one device the cutouts stopped. But anytime two devices were connected I’d get cutouts just like you described. Hoping a firmware update will fix but after Decembers update it’s still not fixed.
My issues were existing even without multipoint connected. Hope that with enough people experiencing the same issues they will provide a fix in the next firmware update..
Sad to heard that, its hussle for you Im lucky i don't have any issue yet i hope in the near future nope I bought coffee n the coffee shop i forgot my phone in the car, the buds had in my ears walking distance my music didn't cut off, soundpeats h1
if you are using LDAC then in the app already mentioned there will be a connection issue if use LDAC. This can be fix if you do the setting on your phone on the LDAC bitrate. I've been using the L3P for like 5 months and there is no such issue when not using the LDAC. When using LDAC, i would use the 660/606kbps bit rate and that too didn't have much issue only if i use 990/909kbps then the connectivity depend on the area i use it. Edit: the L3P has been my daily driver now. Using it everyday like for 4-6 hours/day. Sometimes even more. From listening to music, watching movies, virtual meeting & calls. The EQ I follow another RU-vidr Aregina and loves the sound from the EQ.
@@Fabian-gi5tg I don't use LDAC to watch movies but if you are using RU-vid on any type of tws, do believe RU-vid will auto sync it accordingly. Only use LDAC for music listening due to the battery life for LP3 pro LDAC is quite bad.
@@kennykhoo1689 oh that's great, I'm looking for bassy tws earbuds, only if I'll improve trebles (too much for me) they could be the best choice under 150$. Are they very big with the smallest "wings"?
@@Fabian-gi5tg the size will depend on individual and best is to try it first. But too me it's not that big. Still acceptable but there are some will say it's big..haha
I bought them today. Same problem, changing LDAC to AAC and bitrate and there's still cut outs with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro. The earbuds are updated to the latest firmware and reset...
Is it possible the issue could be an app on your Samsung phone? Seeing as it works with your iPhone but has issues with your Samsung phone, then the problem is either a compatability issue with the air buds and your phone or something with an app on the phone. Unfortunately the only way to figure out if it is the phone would be to factory reset the phone and retry the buds. If it now works without issues, start adding back your apps one at a time and see if it breaks again as you go along. If it does then you may have found the app that is causing an issue. This process involves a lot of work requiring some patience. Obviously the simpler solution would be to return the buds. Just a thought.
Thanks for tips, I have already returned these but as you mentioned it could very well be just an issue between compatibility with the phone and buds. However others seem to be experiencing this also. Every issue to their own, good thing is at least for me the return process was rather smooth so you can always resort to this as the final option.
I am having this same issue with mine on my labtop insted of every 3 or 4 minutes it's every 30 to 45 seconds and it's extreamly annoying, support couldn't fix it but I cant send it back because I live so far away it would be hell to get it sent back...just unfortunate because these are killer headphones
I’m having problems with touching to answer…won’t answer with my touch but will with my daughter… as I am older 73 I wonder if dry skin may be the culprit
I have these disconnections only in ldac codec (set at 990kbps in android developer options, if i set 660 more less disconnections almost 0! ) and only every 2 or 3 hors of music or also no disconnection at all, is it ramdom... so non problem for me. in aac and sbc no problems, indeed, I use sbc when I want to play to have less latency and I must say that in sbc it is fantastic! I updated with latest firmware v04.82 on my xiaomi poco f3 phone... very strange, I bought them a month ago, perhaps the first lots they sold had some hardware problem so the following lots have been corrected and thanks to the firmware updates the problem is no longer there or only partially (I repeat only a disconnection half a second every 2 or three hours of music and only in LDAC codec ...) sorry my bad english and thanks for the video.
I found a solution for this issue!!! The same stuff happened to me; I couldn't connect to any phone, simply because the device was not available in Bluetooth. I was not able to hard restart either! How I fix that? I let the earbud's battery drain to die! After charging it I was able to hard restart and fix the issue. I hope this would work for everyone.
When I connect this earpods liberty 3 pro's with my iphone 12 pro max the mic's sound is so muffled and they can't understand me at but when I connect it to an Android great sound.
I think it’s isolated issue with your Samsung phone (compatibility), I use them with my iPhone XS Max past 2 month and not even once it cutoff at any given time as well as my gf used them with her Poco F3 also never any issues. Perhaps your buds might need some sort of reboot if it’s your phone issue 🤔 P.S. they work good with my iPad Air 4gen as well.
I had to return these, unfortunately. The sound quality and ANC on these are amazing, but the cutouts were a problem. I was using them with an iPhone 13 Pro and having cutout issues. Sometimes it was a brief pause, and usually while either my phone or watch were unlocking. Sometimes, though, nothing would cause it. I was also having issues with the fit. No matter what tips or wings I used, the massive size of the buds made it difficult to keep them in place. Sometimes, even when they were in place and I felt no need to adjust them, the sensors would read them as out of place and stop the music. I replaced them with Beats Fit Pros. The sound quality isn’t nearly as good, but it resolves the other issues.
I only have this issue when I use LDAC and prioritise sound quality only, and keep the phone in my pocket and am moving around (in metro, bus, etc), otherwise it's stable on LDAC or AAC. I'm using a xiaomi redmi 10s.
Problems could be different like i am having problem recieving the messenger/whatsapp calls by double tapping the bud while my cellular calls are easily recieved.
I had SoundCore Liberty Air 2. connection issues on my pixel and also on my iphone... my friend on samsung phone had the same issues with his own pair of Liberty Air 2. never buy soundcore again...
your problem is weird... I have a Samsung note 9 and it works fine... my complaints 😌 would be the transparency, ANC and phone call quality while driving... but happy with the sounds.
