Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro REVIEW vs Sony WF-1000XM4 vs Neobuds Pro | Hear the Difference 🔥 

I am impressed with the café noise suppression of the L3P in the phone call test, the Sony xm4 where pretty underwhelming in this aspect.

I went from Jabra 65t active to Xm3s to bud's pro to the Beoplay eq. Jabra were great for the time Sony had terrible call quality where I always had to restart the headset for a clear not fuzzy connection. Sound on the Sony 1000xm3 were great, so I bought the Buds Pro for call and great sound. The Beoplay eq does it all for me....Sony 1000xm3 are semi retired, and my Buds Pro are 2nd backup. Buds Pro have a hard time staying in my 👂 ear

I went with the Soundcore liberty 3 pro's. So far I'm really digging them. When I drive my 18 wheeler and hit ANC it's scary! The engine noise just dissappears! I still get beeps and buzzers but no engine noise. I just can't drive that way but it's nice to know it really works. I love the sound. Unfortunately my Android phone doesn't support LDAC so I don't know if it is a huge improvement or not. When I upgrade that will be a priority. I haven't tried any of the others so no comments on them but I can't stress enough how much I love my liberty 3 pro's!

You can put the Sony xm4 foam tips on the liberty 3 pros that's what I have on mine, and like you said those foam tips make a difference.

I tried the L3Ps and went back to the Neobuds. The L3Ps are $70 more expensive, and in my opinion the sound quality and ANC are a tie between the two. The L3Ps are too bulky and despite the ear tips and wings they come with I could not find the right combination to keep them secure during workouts. The Neobuds with spin fit tips stay locked in even on long runs.

Hi Aaron. Does the Wearing Detection work on your pair? Music stops when I take a bud out but doesn't resume when put it back as supposed to. I'm using a Note 9 but from what I understand the phone used shouldn't have anything to do with the sensors function. Second pair now and not working on these either. Best Wishes.

Have the SoundCore Liberty 3 Pro. They are not the most balanced out there, but they sound extremely powerful, dynamic and warm. They sound very good. Interesing fact is, it's better to get the SoundCore Space A40. I didn't expect them to be so balanced in sound. Also one great rule is if you play with multiple equalizers like the main one from the buds and the one in a standalone audio player. The best are jetAudio Plus and NEUTRON. You get out of this world sound 💥.

I had to tame it by using its app equalisers. The ANC is not as good as the edifier neobuds and Sony WF 1000xm4. I look forward to you comparing to Sennheiser cx plus or the momentum

How does it compare to edifier neobuds pro? Are the l3p worth the extra money? If yes do you have any idea if the l3p are going on sale before the end of the year?

I have the 3 pros and the MX4s and if I switch the foam tips from the Sonys onto the 3pros the ANC is on par if not better than MX4s. Wouldn’t comparing buds with the same tips make for a more accurate comparison?

Great comparison video, Aaron! I've had both the XM4's and the L3P's - each for a couple of weeks - and the XM4's definitely had better ANC. My primary usage was for the gym, and as someone who has some hearing loss a loud volume and rumbling bass are essential. The XM4's just didn't have the "oomph" needed; especially at the $280 price point that I bought them at. The L3P's were perhaps the best buds I ever owned, except for one annoying aspect. I kept getting audio cutouts while listening to music. Sometimes it wouldn't do it at all, other times it was like every five minutes or so. I got so annoyed I returned them. I'm kinda regretting that decision and am contemplating getting them again. Hopefully it was just a faulty set of buds. 🤷‍♂️ Edit: I agree, the HearID test on the L3P's was worthless. I prefer setting the EQ manually.

Great review Aaron as always. I have the L3P and I rate them but am not 100% with the audio - you have to tweak EQ in the app to taste and I have never got the treble to my liking, it's just too sharp (armature tweeter I assume). I have compared with the Beats Fit Pro, and while the bass cannot thump as much as the L3P, the audio was higher quality, very sweet indeed. But not as good as everything else so they went back. My point is that I think the L3P audio is a little over-hyped (confession: I am an audiophile!)

Just adding my 2 cents for what it's worth. I have used many true wireless earbuds and have been looking for the best ANC, sound quality, comfort, and great call quality. After watching numerous online tests, it is obvious that these qualities will vary for each individual. Before the Soundcore, the Bose QC were by far my favorite and now the Soundcore seem much better than the Bose and Sony, even in the area of ANC. My tests were all performed with factory settings, no personal ear tuning. So my suggestion is for you to try them for yourself before making a decision because everyone is going to have a slightly different experience.

Sony Linkbuds S is 15$ cheaper than Liberty 3 Pro. Which one should i choose :( I can't decide. I mean Overall Performance not just for the sound quality.

I actually sold my *Sony WF-1000XM4's* after getting the *Liberty 3 Pros.* Usual disclaimer: _We're all different._ The *L3P's* solved all the problems I had with the Sony's. . .especially *sound* and *fit.* I was one of the few didn't care for the sound of the Sony's right out of the box. It was suggested to me that they do better at higher volume. That did help. But it wasn't a useful solution. I listen to a lot of different genres, and I kept having to create (and switch over to) new custom EQ settings with the *XM4's,* depending on what I was listening to. Conversely, with the *L3P's* I have yet to utilize an EQ _at all._ Of course, I have the _XtremeMusic_ app always on by default. *Aaron,* you may or may not recall what a difficult time I've been having trying to find the right earbuds (and tips 😄), and a satisfying sound signature. And then these just took my breath away. I have difficulty expressing how blown away I am by these. And I don't think it's just because of what I feel is an amazing sound, but that I don't have to do anything extra to get it. I did want to try the *L3P* custom equalizers that were set up by the different award-winning sound engineers. But, I lose my precious _LDAC,_ so I never bothered. Because ultimately, as I've said,¹ these are absolutely perfect for me. Whenever I must charge my *L3P's,* and I'm listening to music at the time, unless I grab my 🎧 *WH-1000XM4's,* it's quite the step down in quality when I switch to my other earbuds. But if I'm watching my TV (which includes RU-vid) the *Samsung Galaxy Buds +* are a fine backup. But I still notice the difference. As a result, I'm definitely getting another pair of *L3P's* as backup.² I'm considering selling my *Jabra Elite Active 75t's* to help pay for a backup pair of *L3P's,* as I did with my *Sony WF-1000XM4's.* Although the *Jabra's* will only help a bit, whereas selling the *XM4's* easily paid for the *L3P's.* *EDIT:* And for once, I didn't even have to change the earbud tips! Although, recently I switched to foam tips. . .But only for the _wax guard.³_ 😁 *Addendum:* Like many nowadays, I don't have much by way of expendable income. I generally purchase _'used'_ through Amazon, or as I noted above, sell one thing in order to help pay for another. It's the only reason I have a number of different earbuds. ··•✺•·· ¹ ─ ad nauseam. 😏 ² ─ To afford another pair of *L3P's,* I'll have to sell some things, and save up. Which is why I had considered the hi-res *Edifier NeoBuds Pro.* And even though their purpose would be as a _backup,_ the battery life doesn't really do it for me. I may as well go with something that checks all the boxes. Then I wouldn't consider either of the *L3P's* as a "backup." ³ ─ Another bonus with the foam tips - I rarely use ANC. Although, I rarely used it before, the difference now is such that *I have to check* to see if it is *on.* 😃

The Liberty pro 3 and the WH-1000XM4 lose multi point with LDAC so I would assume it's the stability of LDAC connection .

I returned the liberty 3 pros and kept my liberty 2 pro upgraded versions(with ldac) because I was ridiculously impressed with the sound of the lb2 pro +'s. I didn't get the same excitement eq for eq from the 3's as I did with the 2 +' s. Bass/sub bass is amazing. Treble is Crystal clear and clean. Vocals are slightly more pushed back compared to everything else but I love that type of sound. (hear ID with rock EQ)

Jbl club pro plus is the king not even close. Please make a review on it . Play on the equalizer because it’s the best. The equalizer is like studio quality.

Really nice review. Had my L3P for over a month now and been loving them. My first TWS and in the UK there's a £110 difference between the L3P and XM4 (though there are black Friday deals for the XM4) Can kinda agree with you on sound. I apparently like high treble so they fit but the vocals did sound distant/recessed a bit. The 3D audio setting seemed to bring vocalists and some instruments more forward with added substance, along with better audio imaging. But know that isn't everyone's preferred setting.

I have the L3P which I got around for $125 in the 11.11 deal. It's sound is really good. But my biggest complain is how hard it is to take them in and out. I have to do massive finger gymnastic. next is the bluetooth can be cut out more often than AirPods Pro. The connection also can be iffy as the multipoint doesn't work well sometimes. then next is the Auto ANC setting, it is irritating. The noise cancelling is okie. Fitting is kind of nice. EQ is great. All in all, buy this for the sound because it is like a cheaper XM4 alternative. As a whole, the AirPods Pro is a better everyday use earbuds for me. I might sell the L3P to prepare cash for the next iteration of the AirPods Pro.

I am reading reviews saying that these suck. The ANC is a joke and the treble is too sharp the multi point paring doesnt work well etc. So my dilemma is do I trust all of the glowing youtube reviews or the people reviewing on Amazon, Best Buy, etc?

The harsh treble can not be corrected in “de app” stop lying 🤦🏻‍♂️ I had the liberty 4 with the same issue and it could not be corrected in “de app”

The Liberty pro 3 is a better earbud comparing the MSRP. For $100 less I would take the slightly worse ANC but better SQ IMHO over sony . The balanced armature in th Liberty pro 3 makes the treble quite amazing IMHO which is it's strong point

I feel like a major outlier. I'm not sponsored by anyone. I've spent my own money on the Liberty Pro 3's, Sony XM4s, Bose Quiet Comforts, Echo Buds Gen2, and Galaxy Buds Pro. After seeing all of your peers' reviews, I had to buy these. I've used them for a week, and....I hate them. The ANC is weak. The audio sounds artificial. The case is horrible; you can't put them away easily. The app isn't intuitive, and the battery dies super fast. I also don't like the wingtip. They click and ruin the touch controls. The touch controls are finicky at best. Overhyped. I'll keep my xm4s as my daily use. Sony is still the best.

Nope... it is not a good idea to compare the stock sounds. You should compare the sounds using all the tools that come with the earbuds. Everyone would EQ the sound to their taste. I know it is subjective but everyone would understand that you tuned all earbuds to your taste for comparisons. Therefore, I can't trust your review on the sounds. It makes your review meaningless.

As clean as sony....excuse me, the sony is the most muddy thing i ever hear, three tones got mass up and mud together.

Sony's are too expensive, and personally I prefer the design of the Edifier Neo Buds Pro, but apart from the ANC a little better than on the Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro there is too much lack: No wireless charging No proximity sensor Rather limited application and very limited customization of touch gestures. Very average autonomy No multipoint ... I think the Soundcores are worth the extra $ 40, especially since they are currently quite often found around $140 instead of $170. Ps: I sincerely believe that the advantage of buying earbuds with a built-in EQ is that you can customize the sound to your liking, and I think the majority of people expect to know whether these earbuds respond well to equalizations and therefore whether we can achieve the desired sound.

I habe both, the soundcore 3 pro and the mx4 from Sony. First of all, the Sonys can also connect to 2 devices, the ANC of the MX4 is still (a lot) better, the Sony Software is also smarter.
