I've had the *Motion X600* for a little over 2 weeks. I'm not entirely sure why one would turn off the _spacial audio_ (up facing) speaker and _Bass Up_ features. Once you activated them, there's no going back IMO. They basically sound like every other speaker until those are turned on. Then _watch out!_ Excellent comparisons. Thanks! 🙋🏼♂️
Excellent review! Really enjoyed your video on these 3. I have the Motion Plus. Excellent speaker. Excellent clarity & really good mids & ok lows. Best for non bass heavy music lovers. The Boom addresses the bass over the Motion +, but it really lacks the clarity & the highs. It still sounds great, but it's missing that hi-fi sound. The Boom Plus gets louder & deeper bass & some improved mids/highs. But it still seems like it's missing that hi-fi sound of the Motion +. The X600 has the clarity you want, better mids & bass than the Motion +. That top firing speaker makes a h-u-g-e difference in really making the speaker fill your room. Bottom line, you cannot go wrong with Soundcore products. They have excellent customer service in case you have any issues. I'm very happy with every one I have.
I personally prefer the x600 in this sound test, it's projecting the sound rather than containing it. I'm pretty sure that added bass would be heard if these were next to a wall. I also noted bass heavy sounds cut back the finer details. Let's say bass driven drivers are the youth and the x600 is the executive cut.
I think the boom plus is still better but the X600 simply has more speakers... But directly in front and with a proper equalization the boom plus Sounds pretty crystal clear too it just is a speaker to be used directly in front and made more to the exterior where in a wide open area the X600 probably won't do much either compared to when it's inside a house reflecting sound from every corner...
i am thinking between the the x600 and the boom plus ... the only thing with the boom plus is you got to be careful where you lay it , you wouldn't want the side woofers getting punctured , so i may go with the x600, if the boom plus had grills on the side to protect the speakers i would have gone for that.
Got it, and it's great! .. Haha there's plenty of bass on it. I'm using the Spotify res and it's really clean. No question about it, this is a happening speaker and it rocks out and gives me goose pimples at less than 50% volume. I love this speaker.. There's not enough hype for this beast!
I found your video just in time, to stop me from buying the Motion Boom which was on sale here, on UK Amazon for around $60. Having heard the performance of the other two speakers, I think I'll just have to save up a few more coins and treat myself to the Motion+. Thanks for the video.
I bought the boom 2 but still not as loud as the soundcore rave. Sounds good tho. Motion boom with eq it's twice Ad loud. Motion boom plus good but it doesn't last as long maybe 5 hrs at high volume.
Nice review thank you. Do you know if when we use ldac the battery of the phone decrease faster ? I read many opposites things about that, and can't find anything "sure".
I own a Motion Boom currently and it is an amazing speaker and has insane bass and is so loud for its size and price. I am stuck between getting the Boom Plus and the x600 as I do really want the best bass possible but i also want insane sound quality. Does anyone have a reccommendation?
The motion boom does not support aptx and I didn't know that as I think it sounds better playing my HIi-Res files than the Motion Plus which does. It shows the LG phone I use is excellent as a music source no matter the aptx and the quad dac is engaged or not as I don’t use the jack. Other phones I used didn't sound so good.
@@djscuba I've used the LG V30 for 4 years. Recently bought a used LG V20 as well. They don't produce the same sound though both produce good quality sound. Maybe they are tuned differently. I like the LG V30 sound better and it's LG music app that came with the phone also is better. The LG V20 a bit muffled to me and their older music app not as good.
I consider myself somewhat of lowkey audiophile . I definitely apreciate clear sounds! But since i am looking for an outdoor spesker i sm very torn apart….. will the x 600 be loud enough outside wirh some backhround noises or do you guS reccomend going for s full on outdoor speaker ??? Cheers
The boom plus is £169 , for an extra £100 you can get the JBL partybox 110 which offers deeper bass and better performance outside, is battery powered too. Has a light show. Has the wattage. 160w to be exact. For £269 that’s amazing.
Jbl party box encore is a great purchase too, I am a semi audiophile I guess and appreciate good sound. I’m very happy with the encore. I also have motion boom, partybox 310, motion plus. I think the motion plus has the best sound but lacks the bass thud that the encore has. Motion boom is great but I always go for the encore these days
@@theinfinate quite dumb what u said about the motion plus. You cannot expect such small drivers and radiators to have anywhere near as much thud as a full blown woofer and two tweeters now do u….
@@robinbanda1723 did I say I expect it to have the same bass thud? I said it sounds the best imo. It has more detail than the others mentioned. Maybe read what I said and check how you react.
@nicolasmoon8394 yeah but doesn't have the extra bass boom like the motion plus.i ended sold my x600 for a 100.i did have 2 motion plus but sold one of them,I have an compulsion on buying bluetooth speakers. My best is diamond boxx l3 and worst is bumpboxx all of them. Over all I'm pretty impressed by soundcore, can't wait to see what's next.
nice video you have made....i have a question for you....are the speakers in STEREO?...i assume the motion x600 is....but what about the boom plus?...i have tried to find info about that and cant seem to find anything 100 percent...i know you can have 2 of them and use them in stereo ...but what about the single speaker?....thanks for reading :)
I got 2 motion x600 and 1 JBL Xtreme and you can tell the motion x600 is the next generation of Bluetooth speakers it's not as powerful or boomy as the Xtreme 3 but it reaches lower in that deep resonating low low bass it's audio is flawless JBL is good for parties and bigger open areas the soundcore is good for at home very VERY high quality audio listening
