@@Makai77 - They didn’t have the range Cornell has. Love all of them but Cornell’s voice is just incredibly unique, I can find you like 3 singers that sound similarly to Mercury’s or Robert Plant’s. Doesn’t mean they’re not great but I feel like Cornell was on another level.
@@kingexclusivo Plant certainly has the range that Cornell did... perhaps even greater range (imo). When you say, "I feel like Cornell was on another level" -that's fine but it is your opinion. The beauty of music... it's subjective. I would never call one particular vocalist "The best singer of all time" There is no "best" - just our favorites. Hell, a guy like Dennis DeYoung has incredible range... Sammy Hagar is underrated (imo) and has great range and power, too. Peace, enjoy the sounds!
@Michael Johns Yes! Love Staley... imo, he had the most unique voice of the era. Haunting and melodic. Him and Cantrell sounded great together. I miss Staley as much as Cornell. Cheers!
@@Makai77 Yeah obviously it’s my opinion. You don’t have to agree with it lol, I just think Cornell had a really unique voice. I can find a lot of singers that sound similar to Robert Plant. He’s still amazing don’t get me wrong, but i think Cornell has the edge
