Loudness and sound quality are two very different things. You can amplify mono and crackled sound. Your drinking buddies will have a great time at a party with it. I’d rather have higher quality stereo sound. So many factors to consider. The bit rate and type of original song. Also as an example, bluetooth will compress or weaken your audio quality more than auxiliary and even more than USB. If you’re going to set in front of one of these speakers, I still prefer the Soundlink Mini II which will define and clarify every instrumental note.
Revolve+ is almost double the price of the mini so i expect nothing less. That being said, The mini 2 is an absolute beast and outperforms all other speakers within it's own price range.
This review have it's point, but a comparison I missed was both speakers at the same "loudness" bc the revolve have a louder song, it is more difficult to listen their frequency responses for the sounds.

Different products. One is omnidirectional and the other no. Depends of use . If it's for personal use, sit the soundlink ii and point at you. Much better definition and sound stage. If it's for a party, pool , room, revolve.
I love my mini 2, I use it for home office and inside places, I’m planning to get a 2nd one and connect them with auxiliar cable for stereo, and eventually getting a dac. For outdoor places I may prefer the revolve+ 2, for portability, 360 sound and splash proof
The mini 2's sound appears more filtered thus the highs sounding better than the Revolve +. Other than that the Revolve Plus is ahead including the price level
The Revolve appears to be on a louder setting that gives it an unfair advantage on the first track and I think it has quite a bit of echo making it sound more live like in a club. Its a great sound but the mini is actually cleaner and probably better. in a real life situation I think the + will have a better sound due to the 360 sound
Do think the same, talking about echo, Revolve's 360° sound might occur more rebound on side & back walls coming to the mic (pardon my english) comparing to the SoundLink who's got some kind of straight projection... Adding fact that Revolve+ output power is way above SoundLink (can't find Watts specs) well that's kind of harsh putting those two on the same level !
Hi You should have matched the levels for a fair comparison The song at 2'15" for instance: +4db rms on the revolve+ clip compared to the soundlink mini ! I matched the levels in Wavelab, and the Soundlink Mini 2 sounds way better
By the way, I have both, i think mini2 will good than revolve+ a lot if u seat near the speaker. But if u bring it outdoor revolve+ is fantastic but the battery can't use 16 hour even u open 60% volume.

Maybe the same price but not the same sound .... I used to have a soundlink mini ii which just broke and Bose offered me a revolve + as a replacement .....it was clear as soon as I played a song on the revolve that the sound is not as good. Just dont get that nice crisp mid, sharp hi and deep bass . Very disappointed Bose has decided to sacrifice sound quality for a main stream party speaker that pretty much sounds like every other speaker on the market.
The Revolve is mono. Just one Revolve device can be enhanced with external EQ. Of course stereo is way much better than mono. Obviously Bose projected the Revolve models to be used in pair, in a ideal situation. The problem it's expensible, and 2 devices to get 1 stereo listening, considered it shall be portable, is complicated.
@@xxxtentacionproductions2408 It sounds louder cause the charge 3 doesnt reproduce the same bass as Mini 2, and the charge has not the same depth in sound
The revolve p. Sound more pwrful and clear than mini 2: evreyone has his positive side: mini 2 super portable. Revolve p.: Powerful and clear (Excs me of May english isnt perfectly)
