Large speaker sound, simple yet familiar hardware. Micro usb gets the job done, if anything it will be occupied by one of my many thousand cables floating around. The functionality is great. With Bose, user comfort has stayed constant, having said that, we always know to expect the same audiophile-level sound that Bose is reputable for. I would suggest a survey-led(verified buyer only) rebranding of Bose. “Cleaning up under the hood” outside of firmware updates would make Bose nearly future-proof. They could then accelerate past the competitors, who for the most part, arent audio engineering based companies.
Best speaker I've ever had, the only issue with it right now is the bass sounds like statically, but I've had it for some time now, bought it when it recently came out.
The only thing I would suggest is buy another one see if it has the same issue and if it does you can do a buy and swap. Basically return the one that has the problem and keep the one that doesn’t. or reach out to Bose customer service and ask them to replace. Hope that helps
The micro-USB is a bummer, but I understand that this came to market before USB-C was widely adopted on mobile products and it's a big expense for them to retool their manufacturing on an existing product, so no big deal. What I really would have liked to see is a slip case for when I take it on the go in my bag. My refurb does have a small scuff on it that I'll probably rarely notice, if ever, but it shows that it is of course susceptible to marking.
Great review! I'm undecided between this model (Resolve + II and the Resolve II), which is much cheaper. Is the Plus really worth it? What would I be missing if I decide to go with the Resolve II (smaller version of this one)? Thanks!
I'm saying this as a person who owns a Revolve + II. Get the Revolve II. If you can splurge the extra $100 for a slight improvement, then I say go for it. Otherwise, stick with the Revolve II.
*I have recently purchased this and not happy with the bass quality. I have time till 30 days to return it and I think I should by the Flex. Surprisingly when I heard the model (Bose Soundlink Revolve + II) at shop it had good bass. When I am taking the speaking very close to me (less than 1 ft) I am getting/feeling the bass but when I am a bit far, it's just normal sound!!* Can anyone advise? 🤔
i have the same opinion, what did you end up buying instead? as i'm about to buy something else, looking for the most bass i can buy for a portable speaker
@@ellyjelly3 Thanks for your comment. I had returned the SoundLink Resolve and purchase the Flex. Flex is value for money and has much more rich bass compared to it's size and price. Go for it, you won't be disappointed. I still have it and listen to it every day! Peace ✌️
It is like a 3.5 or 4 inch Speaker cone inside of that Thermos size speaker. They can only engineer it to get so much bass out of it, and it's size is simply a limitation. If you want more deeper bass, and high fidelity, I would suggest buying the Bose S1 Pro. That has a 6.5" woofer in it along with 3 drivers, and will blow away any speaker in it's size class. It's a $699 speaker with the battery though. $599 on sale RIGHT NOW until 3/31/23.
Most important feature …. How many can I link together and how. Via WiFi ? And you only said one sentence in regards to this and sounded uncertain as to how many can be linked ( and how they link )
Unfortunately I can’t compare, I can definitely tell you that this is the best sound I’ve ever heard for a portable speaker ever. Do you have to take that with a grain of salt given you don’t know my experience of trying other things
You’re on the wrong platform then. Try Ticktok, Instagram reels, or youtube Shorts. RU-vid algorithm prioritizes video length. Meaning the longer the video the higher it ranks. hope you have a good day
the loudspeaker is garbage because 2 things have been improved, namely the battery life has increased by 1 hour and the protection against water and dust has improved somewhat, otherwise everything has remained the same the technology is 5-6 years old and bose wants 330 euros for it the speaker is worth just 150 euros
I got a silver one because they didn’t have any black ones left :( and it turns out that it doesn’t have the cute handle. Is this worth letting people know? Not sure if I can handle it… lol. ❤️🗣
I came here to find out whether it was waterproof, water resistant, anything that had to do with water… Not sure if you said anything about that but I do know after you started complaining about the micro USB cable I kinda just had to start skipping just to watch you handle it but not listen 💀
@@LoganDunning I'm looking for a portable bluetooth speaker with at least bluetooth 5.0 and ipx 67 and really great sound... what to buy or do I need to wait?
the fanboys are something to be sacre of, this crappy speaker is litterrally a blatant cashgrab, bose was so greedy on this one, yet ppl still like it just because of brand
