Do the pitch stop when you do the intercooler... you'll notice the shift knob bucking around a lot less when you do. Huge improvement.

Loved the vid! Had mine for a couple months now and love it over the 16 I had. Never modified a car before, but worried purely about warranty. Any mod suggestions include that intake? And I did order Nameless 5” muffler, 3” tips. Lol

I defiantly recommend the intake with the air box from ETS! I really like Titan 7 wheels as well. I run them on my STI S209 and my twin Turbo c8 corvette! I’ll do a video soon showing the titan 7 gold wheels from Cobb

The only reason I’d choose the Toyota over the WRX would be Toyotas reputation for quality that lasts, but it’s a3 cyl compared to the 4cyl , and that’s sometimes doesn’t matter these days especially with forced induction, but can the Toyota computer be tuned? Or does it require a stand alone? I’ve owned a WRX and I love them , but be prepared to work on it some because mine was extremely temperamental

Tommy plugged it into the scan tool when it was first installed and all the trims looked normal. Should be right around the normal 14.7-14.9

@@WIDEBODYNATION With your mods you are going to be looking at around 300whp and 320wtq no problem. With an E30 mix and a Turboback you can get 350whp. Mins running low 12s in the quarter mile on JB4.

**12/6/22 Update** It has recently come to our attention that a small number of our customers have experienced Dynamic Advance Indexing (DAM) that remains low after installation of this intake due to excessive timing at part throttle acceleration. When this DAM value is low, your vehicle will not run full timing and may impact driveability and performance. Moving forward, we will now provide an insert that effectively reduces the inner diameter of the MAF housing in an effort to mitigate this part throttle fuel trimming that can occur when the vehicle is running on the OEM ECU Calibration (Stock Tune). This change is effective from 12/06/2022 forward, all orders shipped after this date will have the machined insert included at the time of shipment. If you have previously purchased this part, and are experiencing lower DAM values after the installation of this intake, please email a copy of your invoice to sales@extremeturbosystems.com and we will send you out a sleeve free of charge. If you are not having any issues with DAM or driveability, you likely do not need this insert and can feel free to disregard this notice.

If they refuse service, then they’re a bad dealership. And no, shouldn’t void warrant unless you find a vindictive dealership that wants to screw you over. Tunes void warranty, intakes don’t unless you do something wildly dumb like not plugging in the MAF or something

@@WIDEBODYNATION Just a quick correction on "Tunes void warranty". Not if you use the JB4 unit. Does not flash the ecu and the ecu has no idea it is even there. Obviously would need to be removed before going into a dealer but is undetectable and is a fantastic option for those worried about warranty.

@@DarkWolfWRX The car has 9-12 psi boost stock, if you use a jb4 and get that up to 21 psi the car will have that data and your dealership is going to know.

@@janaaronson4907 as far as the ecu is concerned it is still running stock psi levels. The jb4 sends stick reading to the ecu. So unless theres another monitoring device outside of the ecu I am unaware of, nothing but "stock" data is being recorded.

Everyone is finding out with the Cobb accessport that it does need a tune even running stock map it's showing negative DAM. That's not good. ETS released this product without proper testing.
